Call me Scarlet, if I am lucky, it will one day be the name the world will know me by. I am teenage girl, who thinks differently then most. To some this may seem as if I am not thinking at all, but then some people are fools. I have a cynical look on the world but also look to my Father in Heaven for things to work out. I read when I am bored and draw people I like and scenes I find simply beautiful. I write and therefore I am. A little bit of background for what I write: Rose Thorns: I wrote this poem throughout a number of days, and it all began with a rose petal lying on my nightstand. Words came inspired and I wrote each down individually, and from there wrote the mass of imagery. If you can't understand it that's okay, I barely can. I would like to here people's various interpretations. Willow Boughs is the sequel. I plan on eventually writing a third, but I await inspiration. Brown Eyes: I guess it could be about someone, but I am not sure who yet. The writer is supposed to be a girl and the guitarist her neighbor, her long crush. Whore: I read a little blurb someone wrote on here with the same name (its in my favorites) and was inspired so I wrote, I wasn't trying to steal their idea. It's about Mental and emotional violation rather then physical. Winter: A friend of my tried to commit suicide some time ago, so I wrote Winter for her. Things are much better then it was. Her winter is over, hopefully forever. Back and Forth: No I don't speak French, I used Google Translator, so its probably not that good of French. As for the rest there isn't much to tell, the ones that sound kind of emo are, but I am not. Things change. Enjoy what you read, I may sometime soon come out with a short story or two, they are in the works- in my head at least. I am really bad at updating and sticking with things so if I do it'll be good...hopefully. About Me Age: Old enough to date and drive but can't legally drink (Not that I would mind you!) Religion: I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I often open about my religion in what I write and just basics beliefs and morals. I apologize if I ever offend anyone because of them but I will not apologize that I have them. I do not believe in Pre-marital Sex, or same sex-marriage, so I avoid all stories with the latter, and explicit of the former (I find that people who need sex- especially explicit sex- in their stories should probably have never written them.). Music: I love Michael Buble', Celtic Thunder (Celtic Folk in general), Musicals, Josh Groban, Fireflight and other Christian rock bands, Brad Paisley and the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Books: My top three are Pride and Prejudice, A room With A View, and Winter Rose. Pet Peeves: Misspelled words, especially the word ridiculous. It's spelled with an 'i' not and 'e'. Loves: Red Roses.
