Good morning, FictionPressPersons! Karmic Kaos, KLTD here (sort of influenced by Illuminatus, lol). I'm with the Gaian contingent here. This profile shall be a work in progress, very much like me. My blogs are Legion, though what I've had published isn't, yet. My home page listed here is my bookmarks page, which I share, and I update, trying to keep the list current. My most active and personal blog is over on LiveJournal, as snapes_angel. I'm pretty much the same on DeviantArt, Blurty, MySpace... Oh, yes, and I'm Dark Angel of Slytherin on Gaia, otherwise known as Dark. Pleased to make your acquaintance.
I have uploaded the first part of a work in progress, a trilogy. It has taken me long enough to settle the story. One of my reasons for uploading it is so that I don't feel left out, since everyone else at Fiction Press seems to have something posted here. ;-) I'm not sure I'll be posting anything more then the beginning of the story, because I want to write it first, before exposing it to public censure (LOL): but the beginning is fair game for critique. I can't even figure out where to let people know that it is a fantasy work in progress (though duh, if they read the title, with PSALM OF THE NECROMANCER, I think that's a dead giveaway, lol). If you critique, the best things you can tell me about it is what you like about it in particular, or wlse, what you do not like about it in particular. It would also help if you could tell me why you feel this way.
Please, do not just say "I love it! Post more!" That hurts my feelings. T_T It helps to know what in particular you like about a piece. Was it the character? The situation? The descriptions? It also helps if you can tell me if you do not like any of these elements, and why you feel that way bout it. The way that this is written now, it can stand on its own, as a bit about a dying man. Viable feedback is appreciated, thanks! For the names I went to behindthename.com, and used a lot of Slavic ones, thus, the unusual spellings. By the way, did you know that the name Dragan is derived from the Slavic element dorogo meaning "precious"? With the spelling, it is a double entendre as well, of course, lol. What do I mean by that? Well, you'll see...I'm still working on it. The next part, which I may not post (at least, not right away) will be told from his son's perspective.
Of course, if folks from my writers' group read this, it will drive them sane. There have been some, shall we say, character name alterations.
