Author has written 161 stories for Nature, General, Haiku, Fantasy, Historical, Mystery, Politics, Life, Family, Friendship, Love, Fable, Humor, Humor, General, School, Song, Young Adult, and Essay. I live pretty much near Seattle, WA, which is a nice place where concerts are usually cheap. I'm 16 and I currently can not ride a bike, but I can swim. When I am not writing (or while I am writing, depending) I like to listen to music, make music (piano, mandolin), learn new languages (French, Norwegian), or be with my friends who I have known for most of my life (over half of it). I also like to read books a whole lot and stay up late. My hero is a man named Simon Amstell and my favorite television show is Doctor Who. I like to buy really inexpensive clothes. I enjoy noncommercial radio stations. I tutor a fourth grade class in reading and writing during the school year. I would like to be a poet that speaks five languages when I grow up. Preferably, I would not live in the United States. One of my favorite things to do is win stuff. I donate blood because it's quite a nice thing to do. I have the most common blood type. I don't like spiders or whales. I miss a lot of people who I don't think I ever really knew. I collect maps and CDs and books. I write because it helps me understand the world. Summer is my favorite time of the year. I really like watermelon. I pre-order CDs and am pretty obsessed with a lot of things, like finding the perfect college. ((I post anthologies)) I like books and poems written by people like John Green, Scott Westerfeld, Maureen Johnson, Kevin Brooks, Chris Wooding, Adam Rapp, Frank O'Hara and A.E. Housman. Music is a huge part of my life and I like music by bands like Los Campesinos!, The Kooks, Throw Me the Statue, Tokyo Police Club, The View, Swanton Bombs, The Wombats, Cat Stevens, Bishop Allen, Fruit Bats, Benjamin Gibbard, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Dykeenies, Cajun Dance Party, Bob Dylan, Natalie Portman's Shaved Head, The Morning Benders, Phoenix, Yelle, Vampire Weekend, and Kate Nash.
