"Life's journey is not to arive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but rather skid in sideways, totally out of breath, shouting: man, what a ride!" -Anonymous

Copy this and paste it on your profile if you've acted out funny lines you've come up with for your characters without noticing it and have received many odd looks/comments.

92 percent of the teenage population has switched to rap music. Copy this and paste it on your profile if you really couldn't care less about what type of music everyone else listens to as long as you're jammin' to your own beat.

For the sake of appearing original, I actually came up with those.

"Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it." -C.S. Lewis

Skullduggery - (noun) "Underhanded behavior, tricky."

Idiosyncrasy - (noun) "A structural or behavioral characteristic peculiar to an individual or group."

Vendetta - (noun) "A justified hatred" or "a long-running blood feud."

Freelance - (adj.) "An uncommitted independent, as in politics or social life" or "independence."

Pugnacious - (adj.) "Having a quarrelsome or combative nature."

Equity - (noun) "The quality of being fair or impartial."

Jackanape - (noun)(dated) "An impertinent person."

Discommode - (adj.) "To cause someone trouble."

Above are my favorite words. I like them for different reasons. Some describe me, some just sound really cool.

Anyway, the name's Sercus Kaynine because I'm creative like that. I write stories and poetry, although I don't claim to be an expert on either. So far, I only have up a bunch of oneshots and short poems all written on whim, but maybe one day I'll manage to get comfortable enough with the plot of a longer story to try to write it down.

Right now, my favorite authors are Markus Zusak and Diana Wynne Jones. My favorite series at the moment are The Books of Pellinor by Alison Croggon and The Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. I have lots of books that I could call favorites, but it would take a while to list them and that would get frightfully boring after a while.

Well, I won't keep you any longer. Feel free to poke around and read some of my work. Until I eventually post something new or decide to play around with my homepage a bit, I bid thee happy reading.

"I may disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." -Voltaire
