I'm new to Fictionpress.com. I'm a fourth year college student, studying mathematics of all things. I want to go into teaching. How do writing and mathematics reconcile themselves, you might ask. Well, ask someone else, 'cause I don't know. For me writing and reading is about going on an adventure that this world could never provide you with, which explains my love of fantasy. Anyways. My other interests are drawing, sculpting, and horseback riding. I also golf occasionally. But pretend you didn't hear/see that.
I've just posted the first chapter for my new story Blame the Messenger. It tells the story of a girl who becomes a dragon rider and discovers a secret about the rulers of her world, the Ishaan, that will turn the world on its head. Which you could figure out from my crud little summary below. Anyway, I'm hoping to provide a unique take on dragons and riders and I'm hoping that my world is as unique as I think it is. Please read and review as I'd like to improve.
