I’m a 39-year-old divorced father of two. I’m a runner, a cyclist, a vegetarian. I’ve had a long history battling chemical addiction, lousy jobs, and petty women. I lived in the South, honeymooned in Vegas, and spent time in lockup briefly here and there. In short, I’ve loads of experience in bad choices and pitiful mistakes. Yet, I might have finally put it all to good use.

Here are my major stabs at breaking and entering into the literary world:

Zero Main Street: Redemption by the Slice is thus far what I consider the jewel in my battered crown. It took more than thirty years to spit it out; I’m quite proud of it. I hope you will be, too.

Zero follows a not-so-lovable loser in his seemingly futile pursuit of meaning in a life less lived. Kyle, one of the protagonists, means well – don’t we all – but somehow, it doesn’t always come off that way. Other characters drag us down the Path of Not So Happy Destiny in this gritty and crass examination of spiritual pursuits and salvation in general. It is not for the faint at heart or narrow-minded; however, delving beneath the surface for a dip or two will reveal the true nature of this soulful, existential melodrama. Baptists Gone Wild: No Services This Exit takes Zero a few steps further. It is a sequel (and occasionally a prequel), so please take proper care in the order of your perusal.
