Hiya!

Feeré Goroné here. (Pronounced Feeray Goronay) Okay, here's some info about myself:

Hair colour: Sadly, my hair has turned from its lovely dark blond colour to (in my opinion) boring old brown.

Eye Colour: My left eye is bluish grey with a circle of white near the pupil and my right eye is half blue-grey and half hazel. Cool, huh?

Nationality: Canadian, eh?

Religion: I am what you could call "Heretic Catholic". Basically, I believe that there's a God and everything, but there are certain things that I find unbelievable, such as the Immaculate Conception. For my own views on the birth of Jesus, please PM or email me, as they may be considered too offensive to type here.

Age: Born March 30th 1994. Figure it out yourself.

I live in Budapest, Hungary. I go to a freaking awesome school called the American International School of Budapest, so I'm friends with people from all kinds of countries.

fav things to do: play video games, read fanfictions and fictionpresses, read other stuff, surf the web... Don't really care what I do

fav books: Wheel of Time, the Inheritance Cycle, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Harry Potter, Maximum Ride, My own novels (Conceited maybe, but I like them), almost anything fantasy or sci-fi. I've recently finished the first Marla Mason book, Blood Engines, and I'm on the second one, Poison Sleep. I tell you, nothing is better than a badass sorceress kicking frog-godly ass in San Fransisco.

fav video games: All Zelda games, but mostly Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess. Tales of Symphonia rocks too. And SSBB

Favourite anime/manga: I stopped liking anime and manga about two years ago, but my friend has recently introduced me to some good ones. Anyways, favourite manga: Hayate no Gotoku (in English, Hayate the Combat Butler.) To quote Adamwestslapdog, "It's got butlers, some combat, and a guy named Hayate. What more do you people want?" Another is Inu-Yasha, which I just started reading and watching again. My friend lent me some DVDs of "Rosario + Vampire" and after not really getting into it, I sat down for a weekend and watched the whole first season. It's now one of my favourite animes. . A manga I really like that I can't find anywhere online is ".Hack//Legend of the Twilight" and if anyone knows where I can read or watch it (it doesn't work on http://www.revolution-anime.net or http://www.onemaga.com ) I will be very grateful.

Fav fanfictions: The Five, and The Legend of Zelda: Eternal Ark. Those two stories captivated me, made me cry at the end (Ark died, sorry for the spoiler), and they are definitely the best things I have ever read. It sucks so much Fierce Deity took them down. If you want me to send you word documents of most of these two awesome fics, email, PM, or MSN me.

Update: Fierce Oni has recently posted The Five and Eternal Ark on FanFiction (With Fierce Deity's permison) so there's no need to ask me for the docs.

Fav Fictionpress stories: Twin Gear: Ruiner of a Thousand Years by Fierce Deity (author of above stories), and the Advocate series by Kitai Matsuru.

Fav food: Pizza, curry, pie, stir fry, steak, cake, chocolate, Chinese food, Japanese food

Fav drinks: ROOT BEER!! It's better than regular beer lol. I also like coke/pepsi, sprite/7 up, Fanta (european orange crush), and coffee. MMMM LOVE COFFEE

Spoken Languages: English is my first language and I'm learning French in school. I expect to be fluent in French at the end of next year. I'm also learning Dutch from a few of my friends, but I still kinda suck. That, and I'm trying to learn Latin. I'm not very good at it, and it shows in my book VICE. I tried learning Japanese but I've kinda given up on that...

Fav Quotes: "Dancing is a vertical expression of a horizontal desire" - My friend's dad

"A Canadian is someone who knows how to make love in a canoe without tipping it." - Pierre Burton

A little background info about my writing: I first decided to be a writer when I read Eragon. I thought, If this guy can write a book at fifteen, then so can I! My first book had no title and was my worst piece of work ever. I never typed it and I only ever had a few pages of it. I ripped those few pages to bits not long after writing them, and I don't regret it. After that I tried my hand at some fan fiction, all Zelda. I had a rather brilliant self-insertion idea that incorporated the characters from Eternal Ark, but it never got started. I also never typed these stories, but I haven't ripped them. They're in my bookshelf and I still look at them from time to time. I may try writing them someday, but I probably won't. After my brief foray into fan fiction, I started my first serious novel, Lance. I had always planned to write this, but not until after I had written the thing I ripped up, which I call "Thing with Zeren", Zeren being the name of the main character. Anyway, I planned out the characters and some events in the book and began to write. After realizing fairly early on that the beginning resembled Zelda: Twilight Princess down to the layout of the first town, I put the book on hiatus. I WILL finish it, this I swear on my life. I will continue writing it as soon as I'm done the VICE trilogy. However, I will likely finish the prequel trilogy first, which I mentioned in my hiatus announcement. This will make Lance just a small part in an eleven-part series made of a quadrilogy (The Archemage Chronicals, of which Lance is the first book), a trilogy (the prequel thing which takes place in our time, about 2000 years before Lance. It will be called the Interloper Trilogy) and three spinoffs that will connect the two series. The eleventh book I may or may not write, and it would be about Lance's father Linken. Anyway, that won't happen until I finish V.I.C.E. which may take the better part of a few years. To wrap up, I would like to present my life goal for now. My goal is to publish a book (preferably VICE) with me younger than Paolini was when he published Eragon. This means I have three years to finish, edit, re-edit, and publish VICE.

My influences: many video games, including (but not limited to) The Legend of Zelda Series (and The Five and Eternal Ark), Tales of Symphonia, Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy (mostly Seven). Many books, including the Harry Potter series, Maximum Ride, Wheel of Time, Eragon, and Fierce Deity's Twin Gear. Some music, such as Utada Hikaru's Simple and Clean, which inspired an entire book (one of the spin-offs mentioned above). At the moment I'm trying to get inspiration from some anime music such as InuYasha and Hayate no Gotoku.
