Author has written 14 stories for School, Life, General, Fantasy, War, and Friendship.

Hey, everbody! I'm Emma, and this is my Fictionpress, where I keep all my original written works. Here are some basic facts about me; I love House, Harry Potter, Dead Poets Society, and The Office. I am obsessed with color guard (it's pretty hard not to be, considering I'm pretty much at school doing that instead of at home...) and I love playing guitar.

My Poetry

Here's how I roll -- I really couldn't care less about the different kinds of poetry; Haiku, couplet, limerick, sestinas, etc. To me, forcing yourself to rhyme, to squish your words down into certain layouts, only restricts your mind -- cuts off what you really wanted to get across to your audience, or even admit to yourself. I write "poetry" the way I want to write it. Hell, it could even be written more as a passionate paragraph cut into poetry form. Four words, people; WHO. GIVES. A. CRAP.

My Stories

I'm more of a fanfiction girl myself -- many original ideas don't strike me that often, and when they do, I barely know what to do with them. However, I am starting a fiction right now which I'm not sure how it's reception will be. It's about a girl named Alexis Doyle, a fifteen year old California native who-- on the seventh anniversary of 9/11-- is somehow transported back to the evening of September 10, 2001, transformed into Natalie Cole, a girl of her same age living in New York City. She has twenty-four hours to try and stop a national tradgedy, but who will believe a teenage girl? Just for the record, I don't plan on having a happy ending on this one... and I'm verrrry scared on how this will be received, considering I was only 9 when these events actually occurred and I was living on the other end of the country.
