Well, there's not a whole lot to say about myself... I'm 19. I don't think I'm really all that great of a writer - words aren't my thing - but I try and I enjoy writing.

I love music, especially Japanese rock (my absolute favorite bands are SID, Duel Jewel, LM.C, and above all: Kagrra,). I love animals; my family has three cats and 15 pet rats.

I can't stand rude/condescending/know-it-all people or people who hurt animals. I'm scared of dolls (which Raggedy Ann is to be blamed for) and I'm arachnophobic.

I'm not very good with kids. As long as they're being good - and preferably quiet - there isn't a problem, but anything else...let's not go there. Being around my cousin's 3 year old daughter confirmed the fact that I'm not parent material and should not have children unless the world wants another person in an insane asylum.

I've been writing for a long time; I remember writing stupid stories about rabbits and kitties when I was just starting school and I continued writing stories throughout my schooling - though, in my opinion, most of them were pretty lame. In high school, I spent more time writing stories during class than paying attention and doing my work - Kita was my first original story that got beyond one chapter, Vanished was the next - and finally decided to get over my fear of sharing my work with people I'm around in real life and signed up for my school's creative writing class. I got some pretty positive feedback - from people who weren't friends, therefore weren't biased - which spurred me to continue writing.

Vanished - Removed. I went back and was re-reading some of my old work. This one made me wince, repeatedly, within the first chapter alone. It's been removed for the sheer awfulness of...pretty much every part of it. I will not be continuing this one under any circumstances. I had been considering re-writing it, but I don't think that would be feasible, so its been trashed. The one-shots in Stranded are staying up, because those do not make me wince. -PERMANENT HIATUS-

Year of the Rat - This was actually going to be posted on my other account (one I created to post all my new ideas so as not to spam this account with stories that may never get past 1 or 2 chapters) but since there's a 2 day waiting period for new users before I can post (when did that come into effect?) it's going here, because I think it might actually go somewhere. - TEMPORARY/INDEFINITE HIATUS -

Yuurei no Yume -Ghost's Dream- - I wrote it for a class and didn't intend to post it, but my little Kita-muse wouldn't leave me alone...and then Hiroshi-muse and Akira-muse joined in the fun...They wouldn't let me sleep until I posted this. - COMPLETE -

Yuurei no Yume: Oni no Fukushuu -Ghost's Dream: Oni's Revenge- - Book 2 of Yuurei no Yume. Movement 3 is finally up. I will eventually get around to writing more of this - don't worry, I haven't forgotten about it! It's just a matter of getting into the right frame of mind to write this one, as I'm planning for it to be darker than my other work, and that's not a frame of mind I'm in very often. - TEMPORARY HIATUS -

I do not have planned days for updates; I was going to work a schedule out now that I have a sort of schedule worked out with my job but a lot of the time I do not feel like sitting still to type anymore once I'm done with work. I've been next to slammed with typing reports and I can't bring myself to type anymore once I'm done. Rather than have my writing suffer because I'm antsy to get away from the keyboard, I'm going to type only when I can stand to spend that extra time at the computer. Hopefully my work load will lighten up and I can get a schedule going for updates, but I can't guarantee that will happen. I've only gotten busier as the time has passed.

NEWS ~8 November 2009~

Yeah, I've been gone awhile. I've been preparing for NaNoWriMo, trying to get into beauty school, getting my driver's license, working...

I did not get into the school I was trying for. I couldn't get the loan. But work has gotten busier. I was also in a minor fender-bender earlier this week. Not fun. My car is now in need of a new headlight and some duct tape.

All of my on-going stories are on temporary hiatus until further notice. With the end of NaNoWriMo may come another story for you guys, providing I finish it and don't hate it when I'm done. Updates for that - if I post it; I'm still debating on whether I will or not - would be weekly at most, as I'll have some serious editing to do before each chapter is posted.

You may notice, I removed Vanished. I did not realize just how horrible it was until I went back to re-read it. I know we all have to start somewhere, but that wasn't even one of my first stories. Hell, my first stories might make me roll my eyes at the naivety, but I have never, ever, ever winced as much as I did re-reading Vanished. That one was just awful. I have left Stranded up, because those still make me laugh - they're stupid, but they're funny stupid. I had been considering re-writing Vanished but that story will never see the light of day again unless I'm feeling masochistic.

Now, my plan is to finish ODR and YnY:OnF. What I will likely end up doing after I finish up with my NaNo novel (which may or may not include the huge undertaking of editing it), is to focus on just one of those until it's finished, then finish the other. After that, both of those and their prequels are pending major editing. I had two future projects listed, which have been removed. I don't want to focus on anything else until I can get my three current projects finished (unless I get attacked by a Plot Peacock (TM). Then I won't be able to help it, but I hope that doesn't happen.)
