Well, there's not a whole lot to say about myself... I'm 18. I don't think I'm really all that great of a writer - words aren't my thing - but I try and I enjoy writing.
I love music, especially Japanese rock (my absolute favorite bands are SID, Duel Jewel, LM.C, and above all: Kagrra,). I love animals; my family has three cats and 20 pet rats. (My icon over there...look! It's Isshi, Kagrra,'s vocalist!)
I can't stand rude/condescending/know-it-all people or people who hurt animals. I'm scared of dolls (which Raggedy Ann is to be blamed for) and I'm arachnophobic.
I've been writing for a long time; I remember writing stupid stories about rabbits and kitties when I was just starting school and I continued writing stories throughout my schooling - though, in my opinion, most of them were pretty lame. In high school, I spent more time writing stories during class than paying attention and doing my work - Kita was my first original story that got beyond one chapter, Vanished was the next - and finally decided to get over my fear of sharing my work with people I'm around in real life and signed up for my school's creative writing class. I got some pretty positive feedback - from people who weren't friends, therefore weren't biased - which spurred me to continue writing.
Stories
Kita - I’ll be honest – this may never get finished, but this was my first project and the first story I posted here, so it’ll stay. Maybe my muses for this will come back eventually. -PERMANENT HIATUS-
Oni – I’ve got a website up for this as well – linked from the same index page as Yuurei no Yume - but there isn't much there at the moment; I'm working on it. Scroll 15 has been posted. - ON-GOING -
Stranded - This was just going to be a one-shot, but Stranded is now a series of one-shots.
Vanished - I've kind of lost the drive to finish this one, but I may (or may not) change my mind and decide to actually finish it. -INDEFINITE HIATUS-
Year of the Rat - This was actually going to be posted on my other account (one I created to post all my new ideas so as not to spam this account with stories that may never get past 1 or 2 chapters) but since there's a 2 day waiting period for new users before I can post (when did that come into effect?) it's going here, because I think it might actually go somewhere. - ON-GOING -
Yuurei no Yume -Ghost's Dream- - I wrote it for a class and didn't intend to post it, but my little Kita-muse wouldn't leave me alone...and then Hiroshi-muse and Akira-muse joined in the fun...They wouldn't let me sleep until I posted this. -COMPLETE-
Yuurei no Yume: Oni no Fukushuu -Ghost's Dream: Oni's Revenge- - Book 2 of Yuurei no Yume. Movement 3 is in the works at the moment and finally seems to be on track for where I want it to go. - ON-GOING -
NEWS
I now have three on-going stories...that was not my intention, but that's just how it is, I suppose. Updates will probably be even fewer than I had originally planned because of this.
I see my doctor in about a week about my hand, so hopefully he can recommend a good hand surgeon and I can get my hand taken care of. If that happens, I don't know what that will mean for updates, but I can't imagine it will affect them much, if at all. I'll keep everyone updated!
