Hello, Crocodile Machine here.
I'm a writer, have been for many many years (though I'm only seventeen!!) and I've decided it's high-time I began sharing it with the e-World. I usually write romances, just because I'm a sap like that. I do, however, have a story that's a little different that I just put up called "Love Song For No One" about a student/teacher relationship. The way I've got it planned, it's going to turn out a little cooler than most of the s/ts up here on FictionPress. If you don't like that type of story, though, don't read it. If you don't like romances, the only story I've got up that isn't a romance is "The Treasure Box", which will make you cry.
Just felt like getting all that out of my system.

Based on a dream. Kinda odd... On Hiatus, at least until I'm settled with Captain Orion v2.0.
The Treasure Box
This is the story of my childhood, when I first tasted death. It's a sad story, and I can promise that if you have a heart at all, you will cry. By the way, the girl is about five or six, but doesn't know death because she's sheltered. I've had some people ask about that, so there you go. Please, if you read nothing else I've written, read this. In loving memory of Eva Colleen Isakson, wife, mother, and perfect grandmother. PS - The girl Michelle represents did not actually die. She is alive and physically well, though she has emotional problems, as every teenager does. Take a bit of comfort in that knowledge if you need to - my intent was never to cause sorrow in death.
Captain Orion
Yet again, based around true events at a fantastic restaurant in NYC. It's a romance, but it's going to have some pretty funny things in there. Cough, cough, Chapter Two is going to be fantastic, cough, cough. Just read it... Yeah, just read it. 3 EDIT 11/21/07 - Killed. No other chapters will be posted. If you like the story, read v2.0!!
Captain Orion v2.0
The original died. It just wasn't moving the right way... a little slow. So I edited what is up of the original and condensed it to one chapter. Yeah, the chappies may look a little long, but I like dialogs. So that takes up a few lines, you know? It's about Mairi Bucklin, who moves from the middle of nowhere to NYC, meets a Scottish dancer (I love me some athletic Scotsmen!), and there's a lot of turmoil in their relationship. A good story, to me, is two or three tragedies and one 'happy ending'. COv2.0 definitely qualifies. You'll see. This is the story that I'm hoping to make my long-term masterpiece.
Progress:13/4/08 - Chapter ten is on its way. I'm not too happy with it right now, but it IS COMING!!
Purple Hair and Pencil Skirts
So, this girl is a rocker who is used to being in the public eye, and she doesn't give a rat's rear end about what they think. All she knows is that they love her music and her. What stinks is that her uncle is running for President and she has to drop out of sight as a rock star and re-emerge as the President's Niece because his family is unavaliable to be by his side. I don't know how far I'll take this story right now, just because I'm trying to think of how to keep it original. Chapter Two is in the works.
Love Song For No One
Inspired by the John Mayer song of the same title, about how a person's one true love can come in any size or shape and at any time, and how the world works to bring people together and tear them apart. Student and teacher, but rather atypical... Chapter one (Prologue) is finally up.
So there is is. My stories. And since no one really cares about what bands an author likes or what their favorite ice cream is, I shall leave it at that.
I love betas. I need them, especially for LSFNO. So send me a message or something. Currently, I have no betas.
I'm also commisionable. Meaning, if you have a story idea but aren't up to writing it, I'd be honored to write for/with you. I've done it before, it was fun, and I'll gladly do it again. Free of any charge, of course.
