WRITING PROJECTS: edited 9/27/08
Backward and Forward: Eh. Two words: Heavy. Revision. I'm trying to go about a serious topic and it's not really working out for me. Yet. But somehow, I WILL get there. (And when I say it's a serious topic, it's not REALLY that serious. It's just that my protagonist is a girl whose face is scarred - badly, too. I have to dig into those emotions and personalities.)
The Rules for Talking: What's Her Past? Her Future? There's a girl being haunted into silence - is she guilty, and of what? Her father's death? There's an aspiring artist searching for a story, an inspiration. Is she what he's looking for? What are her Lies? Her Truths? Chapter THREE Up!
Blunders of a Psycho: Basically, all I know about this project is that the protagonist is a quirky seventeen year old called Maddie, short for Madeline, and her possible love candidate is a boy called Ian. But, as you can probably guess from the title, Maddie is going to be psychotic, quirky, mega-eccentric, and loads of fun! I'm training her character to represent a different version of the standard teenager, so she's going to be hilarious! I'm already drafting the first chapter as we speak - er, as I type - and I am tres enthusiastic!
Anneliese.
