Comatose by Skillet
"I hate feeling like this
I'm so tired of trying to fight this
I'm asleep and all I dream of
Is waking to You
Tell me that You will listen
Your touch is what I'm missing
And the more I hide I realize I'm slowly losing You
Comatose
I'll never wake up without an overdose of You"

GREETINGS LADIES AND GENTS: I have posted the same two stories in several different categories, though all with different titles, as I'm not entirely sure where it should go.
'Adorable or Sexy?' and 'Pride makes you do RIDICULOUS things!' are the same
'The Gates of Hell', 'My first boyfriend', and 'My taste of hell' are the same
I would LOVE your input on this, so any you're willing to give concerning this is appreciated. Thanx!
~His songbird (smile brightly and salutes)
First and foremost, I LOVE my Lord. (she sings) I live to serve Him by earnestly caring for the people of His creation. (she sings again) I was BORN to WORSHIP the King of Kings. (ROCK ON btw...) I'm a firm believer in 'RAWWKING for Jesus'...that is, worshipping Him with everything you've got, completely abandoning all thoughts or cares of what other people think. After all, it matters NOT what they think, for 'tis not THEY whom you are worshiping. You do it for Him, so it only matters what HE thinks, and HE absotively, posolutely ADORES you- UNCONDITIONALLY. (I dare you to ask me what I mean. (smiles and winks))
"Jesus Christ is the GLORIOUS core of this earthly temple, and enveloping it tightly within it's sweet embrace...is MUSIC. ROCK ON for the King of Kings!!"
Anyhoo... I adore reading other authors' works and sharing what I think. I have a PASSION for encouraging people to be who Jesus created them to be AND in the gifts and talents God has given them. Right! So, you already know I LOVE to ROCK OUT, worshipping my King. I also LOVE to sing...(she snorts, quirking her brow...Yes, did I mention that?...snickers knowingly), LAUGH, DANCE, act, read, paint, do graphic design, and finally my newest love, WRITING.
Right then! The way I see it, I'm still "painting" upon a "canvas"... My new "canvas" being the reader's mind, and my new medium, the seemingly simple, yet, at times, decidedly complex and beautifully diverse medium of...WORDS...(her heart swollen, she beams and releases an audible sigh and sings)
Knowing that, I am very humbled if anyone reads my work. Anyone that allows me to paint upon the canvas of their mind, for any amount of time, is giving me a privilege that I do NOT take lightly.
For that, I sincerely thank you. (she curtseys humbly, bowing her head...Yesh, of COURSE figuratively! (LoL))
"Poetry is thoughts that breathe, and words that burn." - Thomas Gray (1716-1771) THIS was a man who had PASSION for what he did. LOVE THAT!
Facts about me that may perhaps be of interest to you: take them or leave them (smiles and winks)
1.) I LOVE to worship the Lord, studying the Word of God, gleaning all I can of it's vast and EXTRAODRINARY wisdom, and lastly- but certainly not in the least- PRAYER. I do also rather enjoy good discussions that expound upon the Word...(she beams at the thought.) Can you best me? (she smiles, wiggling her brows playfully and winks)
2.) When I was in school, I was a special ed student when it came to grammar, reading comprehension, and English Literature... (she snorts back a laugh quite knowingly) Yesh, that does indeed mean I did not go to any college or university AND I only graduated High School by earning a General Equivalency Diploma, or what is commonly referred to in America as a G.E.D.. That being said, ALL glory and praise goes to the Lord for ANYTHING you see here and/or perhaps read in my stories on FP...as I've NEVER been formally educated on ANY of this...
3.) Should you like to visit it, I have a myspace profile as well. 'Tis at: http://www.myspace.com/she_slays_serpents Stop by! (smiles invitingly) Until then I shall bid you adieau. (smiles warmly and curtseys) As I said before, OF COURSE figuratively! (smiles and winks)
