Author has written 11 stories for Young Adult, General, and Essay.

Hi! I'm Allison, and I'm 18.

My favorite book is A Clockwork Orange; my favorite authors are Chuck Palahniuk, David Sedaris, Dave Eggers, and Nick Hornby.

The only magazines I read are Entertainment Weekly and McSweeney's.

A lot of the characters and situations I write about are based on real people and events.

An Arrested Development movie would complete my life, no questions asked.

I can't help but swoon any time somebody mentions Jacoby Ellsbury. Seriously. Guy's fantastic.

Freaks and Geeks is my favorite TV show. It's brilliant.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg = huge amounts of love. I adore those two. The other duo I'm in love with are the Coen Brothers. Can't go wrong.

r.i.p. Heath. Miss you always, forget you never. (about the paparazzi) "Most of the time you don't even know they're there. Now, that's the scary thing. It's really strange and invading, but I'm still working it all out. I try to not let it bother me. I really try and find the humour in all of it. And if I want to swim naked in my pool, I'm still going to do it. I certainly don't want to feel that I have to change everything in my life that I do to cater to them. I just won't let it happen." - National Post, May 2001
