My humble abode resides in the biggest island in the world: Australia. And yes, if you're thinking that Australia was the place where the English came and dumped a bunch of criminals there and later on started a killing spree with Aborigines - oh and this is all a few hundred years ago by the way - and it was only recently that Australia as a whole (Kevin Rudd, ahem) made an apology to the Stolen Generations... well, then you're right. Lovely.

Unfortunately, I do not have one drop of English blood in me as I 1. have black hair, 2. dark brown eyes and 3. have worn glasses since around the age of 10. Added together, what is the usual result you get?

Thats right. It's called being born an Asian.

So. Sadly, I have the unfortunate curse of really crappy eyesight. I think reading a bit excessively might have something to do with me wearing glasses but that doesn't change the fact that practically all my cousins wear glasses so maybe its a gene thing? :S

And unfortunately, although many people think that asians have the blessing of being really good at maths, I am sad to admit that I am the exception. Yes, it sucks.
