I'm really not that interesting. I'm not sure why I started this, I just get so frusterated that sometimes I just write- throw everything onto paper. I'm not sure its any good or anything, but that's what I do, so I just figured why not.
Otherwise, I'm just a normal Californian teenager. I play 3 sports (basketball, soccer, and tennis), have an amazing family, great friends, am an optimistic pessimist, hate school (to much work), love to read (Stephanie Meyer, Vince Flynn, David Eddings, Meg Cabot, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Robert Ludlum...), over-analyze absolutley everything, watch to much TV (Burn Notice, Bones, House, Veronica Mars, Psych), avoid drama, am a hidden romantic (I admitt it, I love cliches), and love being lazy and hanging out.
The Night Assassin is really my first attempt at an actual story. Any and all reviews are welcomed. Its about Renee, a girl who has lost everything and its just trying to survive from one day to the next. Unfortunatley, the skill her parents taught her, fighting and weapondry, is the only thing she has to fall back on, the only thing that she thinks she is good at. So she kills, piling up her regrets as she once again tries to find meaning in her life. It's set back in a world with swords and bow and arrows, there is a guy, there is action, and there is agnst... just bear with me.
July 2008-- SO sorry. Different point in my life, different stories. I might get back to Night Assassin, but I'm not sure.
One is called Just Fine. Its about Raleigh, or Ray, and how she is trying to make her life work. I havn't got all of the details worked out. All I know is that she has a temporary illness that came back, and its her trying to deal with it and its consequences. Don't know how far I will get on this one... Just me rambling again.
The second is called Too Cold. It's about Kiley, a girl who thinks she has it all figured it out- how to skate through life without really ever becoming attatched or ever really being hurt. But then she meets Trent- a boy with just as many walls, secrets, and misgivings as her. Its not only a romance though, its also about how Kiley relates with other people- her friends, her family. It's how she grows and learns that to really live, you have to be able to take chances.
