"Begin at the Beginning. Go on 'till you come to the End. Then Stop." --Alice in Wonderland

Following the advice of my favorite children's book, here is where it all began. I was born. No, just kidding I'm not going to share my life story. So let's start with something relatively simple yet unrevealing. Perhaps you were wondering about my pen name. Eponine is a character from Victor Hugo's "Les Miserables". It's a novel and musical set in the time of the French Revolution. In the story, she is in love with a man named Marius. She introduces him to her friend Cosette, and they fall in love to Eponine's dismay. Dying inside, she watches as Marius and Cosette express their love for each other. She then realizes that she can only love him on her own. Sad, sweet, and so much like my life!

That's enough for now. In the words of Shakespeare, "Brevity is the Soul of Wit".

1. Bacchus and Ariadne reviews
The painting Bacchus and Ariadne is a very colorful, dramatic work by the artist Titian. Even if you've never seen the painting, you may enjoy this short story about the scene that is happening in the painting.
