I Finding Fiction Press
"Once upon a time... in a tiny far away island lived a fearsome, female, adolescent. This adolescent was part of a whole breed of those adolescents, who had long scared all their elders witless. However, this adolescent was much too lazy to do any of that 'goin out and scarin peeps' nonsense, and left it to her overeager peers.
Now, this left her with all the time on the world... ten-fold, but that of course did not matter, because she had another non-calorie-burning activity that she could pursue. This was the very difficult art of producing Prose (and ocassionally poetry!). After becoming immersed into this activity, for many a year, the adolescent soon realised that she must get some valid opinions to ensure that she was not indeed just writing away to her hearts content, unaware that it was all actually line after line, word after word of codswallop.
This is where she stumbled upon yours truly, FictionPress. Where she found that there were indeed a whole array of adolescents, and maybe even elders that filled pages with words and turned them into Prose, just as she had done. It is where she found the beginning to her Prose-posting. Where she found that not only could people read her stories, but she could read theirs, and leave reviews. And so, this once fearsome adolescent was no fearsome no more, as she pledged to give the world her Prose in return for reviews. Owari"
