Greetins' all! Just wanted to say "hi" to anyone visiting my corner of cyberspace. I'm working on a politically-incorrect parody as my main project:
-Reich Wars: The Legend of Panzerfaust- Inspired by Normal Spinrad's "The Iron Dream." Here, I try to satire heroic fantasy, martial arts movie, and sci-fi stereotypes to show how close a lot come to fascism and Nazism. The main character, after all, is a parallel Hitler fighting the evil "Jewish Reich," after all. No one seemed to notice a basic absurdity: The Evil Jews speak German... And the fact Hitler is a Gary Stu emo kid.
Yes, I know it's full of anachronisms and deliberate "Jewish" comments, but it's all for show. A lot of fantasy cliches are blatantly fascist (such as the idea of innately evil races). "Reich Wars" is meant to be a parody and end point of those racist tropes. Nazis, fascists, and racists suck. And a Jewish friend of mine helped come up with the basic idea. Warped humor is just that: warped.
