-Written in Secrets
A short (like 250 words short) essay about writing and words. It was originally school-like work, but I decided it couldn't hurt to post it up. It would be considered non-fiction, and trust me, I'm not going to be posting another non-fiction for a long time. My other works will also probably be a lot better as I wouldn't have a limit on my words anymore either...This is rated K.

-Workings of the Heart
Another essay for actually the same contest, except now for Spring 2008. Thats right, right after posting the first one I decided it couldn't hurt to enter the current one and I actually wrote this up in like less than a hour. Heh, guess I was wrong about not writing another non-fiction anytime soon, huh? Well, you can get more info in the author notes. This one is about trust, belief, and faith.

-What's Left Unseen
Hmm...the title kinda annoys me, but this story is kind of Halloween themed. It's about this guy named Kesshin who entertains his little cousin, Mell, by entering his hand-made haunted house (one room only). Of course, there is a twist at the end. I originally wrote this as a school project, but considering it was a work of fiction, I decided to post it up. Not my best work, but hey, I got an A.
Summary: Kesshin was ready for toy spiders, raspberry juice, and perhaps even trip wires. He got the toy spider part right, but he hadn't thought actually being scared was part of the equation. Then again, he was never good at math.

-Road of Life
Eheh...I was recently watching D.Gray-Man and this title makes me think of Road...(Rhode?) Anyhow, this was once again, not planned. It was an entry to the Reflections program, part of the PTA thingy in USA but once again, I was to proud to just set it aside. So now it's uploaded here. Well, the story is about a ...person. It's in first-person view, so I never mention what gender the narrator is, but I did have one in mind while writing it so you might be able to tell. Well, this person is absolutely enraptured by the sight of snow. In fact, maybe a little too enraptured as their brother worries. A deep lesson is learned, and pretty quotes are used.
Summary: It was graceful, pure, and white; something to stare at when you were lost on the road of life. But these pieces of beauty had a way of getting to you, and if you weren't careful, you might stay lost forever.

Planning
-A Link in the Chain
A chapter story; probably no longer than 40,000 words at the most. 10,000 at the least (when finished). I plan to have it set in Italy (don't yell at me later, I know nothing about Italy), in a boarding school (how original) with the main character a girl. She finds a journal and inside is a little note about this...game. A person writes in the journal, a short story, and the next person gets to read it. They have the choice of writing another story or not. The beginning of each chapter will be a story that the girl read in the journal as the rest of the chapter is what she does that day, etc. I have the first chapter done (2/18/08), and the 2nd begun.
