A short (like 250 words short) essay about writing and words. It was originally school-like work, but I decided it couldn't hurt to post it up. It would be considered non-fiction, and trust me, I'm not going to be posting another non-fiction for a long time. Another essay for actually the same contest, except now for Spring 2008. Thats right, right after posting the first one I decided it couldn't hurt to enter the current one and I actually wrote this up in like less than a hour. Heh, guess I was wrong about not writing another non-fiction anytime soon, huh? Well, you can get more info in the author notes. This one is about trust, belief, and faith.

A Link in the Chain
A chapter story; probably no longer than 40,000 words at the most. 10,000 at the least (when finished). I plan to have it set in Italy (don't yell at me later, I know nothing about Italy), in a boarding school (how original) with the main character a girl. She finds a journal and inside is a little note about this...game. A person writes in the journal, a short story, and the next person gets to read it. They have the choice of writing another story or not. The beginning of each chapter will be a story that the girl read in the journal as the rest of the chapter is what she does that day, etc. I have the first chapter done (2/18/08), and the 2nd begun.
