Author has written 1 story for Romance.

Hello! iHola! Hallo! Hej! Bonjour!

Pleased to meet you, I'm Anaraine. As you might already be able to tell, I have a penchant for languages. English is my first language, but I'm fluent (enough) in Spanish, and can understand a good deal of Swedish, although writing and speaking it is a different story. I'm learning German and I know bits and pieces of French and Japanese, and I'm also hoping to get some books on Latin and ancient Egyptian (not Arabic, although that would be fun to learn too.)

Thoughts

If and when I use a different language in a story, like, for instance, Japanese, it's not because I enjoy placing spiffy words into my stories. It's because the other characters are actually speaking that language. Or because they're bilingual - they're switching between the two languages to try and explain something they can't in the other language. If you can correct my pathetic mangling of the language, I would be much appreciative.

I'm open to any types of pairings, whether it be yaoi, slash, yuri, het, shonen-ai, shojo-ai - whatever it is, I honestly DO NOT CARE. What I do care about is how said relationship is portrayed, and how the story is written. Love just is. That's all there is to it. You cannot decide who you are going to love; you can occasionally nudge it in a favorable direction, but otherwise, it's very unpredictable. I have yet to find some good yuri fics, so if you could point me in the direction I would shower you with copious amounts of hugs.

Constructive criticism! Ah, what a wonderful thing! I would be delighted to be given said comments, as I want to know what is appealing to the general public, and what can be done to make my writing better. I'll even extend the copious amounts of hugs offer to you people who can and will write me con-crit reviews.
