I do not know whether I will be posting the stories I have imagined, but I now have a place where I may and a fictionpress identity when I wish to comment. I will be happy to reply to any messages sent to me, so feel free to do so!

I have one short story I do somewhat intend to place on this site, and I may add some poetry, but it is not currently high on my priority list.

I read fantasy, science fiction, and watch anime/ read manga. I am college-aged, but have left school without first achieving a degree. I work one job that has finally become a full-time position, but doesn't allow me the same flexibility I used to have. I live at home with my parents and younger siblings, I have a boyfriend who claims most of my free time, and I don't know what I'm doing with my life, or what purpose I'm meant to have. I like music, usually Popular, Christian, some Alternative, and I frequently sing along (to amazingly few complaints, thankfully). I have an endless number of plots swirling around my head, but I worry they have little originality, and my writing needs much refinement. I'm online as often as feasible, into the early hours of the morning, as my schedule allows. Me in a nutshell. I'll come back, rewrite this profile as I see fit, but I have little time left now to spend here. Thanks for stopping by!

Childhood Entertainments

Every once in a while
with time to myself
I change diversions, try
an "old" thing anew;

Get out the jumprope,
hula hoop for a time,
spin till I'm dizzy,
fall down;

My set of Crayolas
still color just fine;
My Legos connect,
house a troll;

Sidewalk chalk, hopscotch,
perhaps climb a tree,
carry my book along, find
a new place to read;

I might practice piano
lessons of years ago,
or sit and crochet
yarn in rows;

Grab bean bags to juggle,
try whistling like birds,
write with my left hand
or in code.

I could do a puzzle,
a wordsearch, some game
that does not require
one more;

Bake in the kitchen,
rummage under my bed,
write letters to people,
look ahead;

Every once in a while,
I do one of these, but
most often with free time,
I just sleep, and dream.
