Author has written 7 stories for General, Romance, and General.

I'll write a few things about me here:

Age: 13, you can usually tell by my writing. Not that experienced is what I'm saying. Trust me, I'm not some creepy stalkerish 40 year old guy who lives with his mom in the basement and feeds his cats while writing. Seriously now people.

Pets: Yes this IS random. I have one dog. And a pet rock that I painted like a mouse, his name is Joe. Don't ask why.

Religion: I am a proud Christian. I go to a Church of Christ which is non-denominational church (more info just ask). Most of my stories will have a moral to them due to this fact. So I do not promote: Alcohol, Smoking, Drugs, Sex before marriage, Homosexuality among other things. These are pretty much the only things I do not promote in my own stories.

Meaning of Halani: When I decided to make an account (because my good buddy Point Zero introduced me to it), we were doing the play Treasure Island at school. My friend was the princess named Halani. I liked it, so I just chose that.

Favorite Books: I find this relevant to a site about stories and could-be books. Right now some of my favorite books are The Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl, Candy, The Road of The Dead, Lucas, Kissing The Rain, Vampire Academy, anything by Scott Westerfeld, the Pendragon series, and of course, the Twilight series. There's other books I like, but you'd be here for years if I listed them all.

Favorite Movies: I pretty much love ANYTHING with vampires, although my dad won't let me watch movies with them. But the two I've seen are some of my favorites: Van Helsing, Salem's Lot. I also like the movie It (although I'm scared to death of clowns). My dad and I have been watching a bunch of Stephen King movies so to match the pattern I also like 1408. Also Titanic, Across the Universe, Weekend at Bernie's (one of the stupidest movies I've seen but also one of the funniest), Sweeney Todd, P.S. I Love You, The Dark Knight, 27 Dresses, Amazing Grace, and my all time favorite The Little Mermaid.

Music: Music is something that does inspire a lot of writers, including me. When I write I love listening to music and whatever I'm listening to reflects in what I'm writing. Usually if there's a sappy love scene or something, I'm listening to a sappy love song. You know stuff like that. What I like to listen to when I write is Three Days Grace, Muse, Panic! At The Disco, Natasha Bedingfield, Trapt, Red, Disturbed (that's really once in a blue moon because it distracts me more than it helps), Seether, 3 Doors Down, Blue October, Steven Strait, and occasionally The Killers.

Any other ways you can contact me: You could email me. That's pretty much it. I don't have a blog or LiveJournal or whatever they're called. I personally hate myspace and if I was even allowed to have one, you couldn't pay me enough to actually go on.

What I write: I am a sappy romance fanatic so romance is usually what I write. I don't write from experience, but from random ideas that sprout in my imagination at two in the morning. As stated before, I'm also a vampire addict. I don't feel I could do justice to a vampire story, so I won't write anything that has to do with vampires. I also like mysteries so I may write something like that. I have a horror story stored up in my mind... but it probably won't come to life for a while.

Miscellaneous: When I get my inspiration is usually at night. That's when I can write a completely new chapter in less than an hour. That's also the time that I get the most headaches and finger cramps. I don't see any point in sleeping until at least three or four in the morning. And unless it's a school day, I won't be up before eleven; morning person I am not. I have to have coffee or some sort of caffeine to get me through the day. I criticize myself WAY too much and usually can't stand my own writing. I'm a procrastinator (to my mom's horror) and I don't do well under pressure. I stress way too much (tis the reason I can't sleep) and I worry way too much about other's opinions. Sometimes I don't think before I speak, I ramble ALL the time, and I usually embarrass myself way too easily. I think about guys too much and I have crushes on the guys I could never have. I am the epitome of a cliche girl by my klutziness, perverted friends, and always falling for my best guy friend. I'd rather do ten pages of history homework than sit through our English teacher talk about antonyms and synonyms (odd I know). I can't stand internet language (such as: r u goin 2nite?); it irks me to no end. I'd love to be a marine biologist when I get older, but I can't stand movies where people drown. I had to leave twice during the movie Poseidon because of that little problem. I get obsessed with the littlest things which my friends hate. I play my music way too loud (blame Opeth for having such good music) and I listen to stuff that all my family hates (except my cousin and my guy friends). I talk about myself WAY too much and it bugs my friends, but I'm working on it alright? I can also be quite the little jokester, but only if I find something to laugh about. At times I can be weepy and emotional but a lot of the time I am very optimistic! In a group of people my age, I'm usually shy and have no idea what to say, but around older folks I can be pretty loud and sarcastic. There are certain things I'll never do and certain things I wish I never did. I love talking (obviously), but listening is good too! I adore coke more than pepsi and Jacob more than Edward. I prefer vanilla over chocolate and IMing to emailing. But that's enough about me.

News

10/31/08- Happy Halloween. Gosh I can't believe I haven't written anything... I've been sooooooo busy and haven't had time to write but we're writing a short story for English so that may be up soon =D

In-Progress Story Summaries

Broken Commitments- Tara, committed to sexual purity since 8th grade, has just disobeyed the most important commitment in her entire life. A few weeks after breaking that commitment, she finds out that she is pregnant. As Tara struggles with the moral battle against her mom, the emotional issue with herself, and the stress that is building up between her and her fiance, she finds more to herself than she could ever imagine.

Little commentary: I got the idea for this story up at camp and I decided to post it. I'm very happy with the reviews I've gotten. They make me so happy, happy, joy, joy! Also, if you have any ideas for the gender of the baby, the name, any wedding thoughts, or even pictures for the characters! Please PM me and tell me. I'm thinking more ceremony for the wedding. The reception probably won't be in a lot of detail, but just tell me anything you'd like. On a temporary hiatus.

InThe-Works Story Summaries

There's Someone New At Brookwood- It's Tyger's first year of school since rehab. When she comes back, she'll have to face some pretty big temptations. When giving into one, her whole life is flip-flopped and she must depend on all her friends for help. Will they be able to help her get through it? Or will Tyger be lost to drugs forever?

Title Not Decided- Ilyssa Swener was the victim in a horrible car accident. About six months later she's still in physical therapy to learn how to walk and use her hands like she used to. At one physical therapy session, her doctor tells her that she'll never be able to do what she loved again--playing the piano. What's worse is that her rock and guardian, her sister Leanna, is moving and has hired a new caretaker, Paul. Can Ilyssa learn to like her new caretaker? And can she learn to deal with the fact that she can never play piano again?

Blank Minds, Blind Eyes, and Deaf Ears- When I woke up, I didn't know who I was... I didn't know how I got where I was... And I didn't know how to get out. The only thing I knew is that I had this sudden urge to kill. And I was going to follow that urge.

Completed Story Summaries

Jamie Lee- This is my first fictionpress story and is complete. I will be changing the title to The Truth, but I wanted you all to know that before I did. Summary: Jamie's life has gone south. Her dad passed away, her mother remarried, and her brother passed away. Jamie is scared to accept anyone of fear that she'll lose them. Can the new kid show her that she won't lose everyone? Or will she lose him too? I really hope you enjoy this!

It's About Time- My first one-shot. It's a short story for school so yeah. Um, enjoy?

Maybe Isn't Good Enough- Another one-shot. Enjoy. . . I guess

Snail Race- Poem for English about a snail race.

Maybe Is Good Enough- Another one-shot. Opposite of Maybe ISNT Good Enough.

Character Pics.

As of RIGHT now... I'm deciding whether or not to get a web page to put all of the pictures on. I probably will, but it'll just be a little bit. So for now, there are no character pictures and there won't be for just a bit. But I promise that if I get a web page I'll put them on there!

Little Note From Author Dearest

The stories I write are completely and fully fictional. They aren't based on anyone or anything I've met or done. I appreciate reviews, but please, keep rude comments to private messages or the such (I appreciate criticism in reviews, just not "this sucks" or "this is horrible"). I also have no gurantee to when I'll update. I have school, and according to my mom (ugh) education comes first. I try to update on the weekend and sometime in the middle of the week. I promise that if I don't update when I say, I'll supersize the next chapter and try to update two days in a row. It takes me longer than most people to write a chapter, but mostly because I try to be so correct and I criticize my own self so much that I can't even stand my own writing sometimes. I want to thank you so much for actually listening to me rant. I hope you enjoy what I write!
