Hullo. My name happens to be Lacey, and you have happened to stumble across my Fictionpress page. Lucky you. -passes cigar- I'm an odd girl with odd ideas who is currently enrolled in University and enjoys it very much. The being odd part, I mean. These past two semester were my first, and along the process I have discovered several very important things. 1) I absolutely do not want to be a music major anymore. 2) I will be teaching some manner of subject in the school systems within four or five years. 3) I intend for that to be English, which if you know me, isn't really that big of a surprise.
I've been writing stories since I was old enough to know what a story is. I didn't really get into feeling it as sort of one of my arts until I was about twelve and in the middle of the my fifth-grade year in elementary school. Those first few stories were fanfiction, although I was too young and inexperienced to understand what fanfiction was. But my friends and I liked to play Narnia, so we wrote stories to go along with it.
Yeah. So sue us for pretending to be the incredibly awesome Pevensies at recess.
Unfortunately for any of you coming across this collection, I am indeed an Elfwood snob. Yup. Pure and unadulturated Elfwood snobbery, right here. I can't help it. I just like it over there more. However, it doesn't mean that I completely ignore this place. Every once in a while I stumble across a gem or two that makes me go warm and fuzzy. On the other hand, this rings sad for those of you looking for some of my better stuff. If you want my original, good, blood-and-sweat type deals, you should probably click on my Elfwood link and look there.
This account is primarily for a 'verse that my friend, Trish, and I created. She's begun a story over on her page that would probably serve as a very nice introductory story to our Superearth 'verse. Most of the pieces that you'll see here are primarily one shots. I try to write at least one every night in order to keep my writing skills on edge for English classes and such. Some of it might not make sense to anyone who isn't familiar with the characters. And you know what? I'm okay with that. Because as I've said, I don't think any of these will be published at all. Anything serious will be on my Elfwood account.
I don't mind constructive criticism. In fact, I welcome it. I always like to get better. But just so you know, if you comment on one of my stories that I blatantly say that I didn't take too seriously, I'll probably just laugh at you. And if you're mean? Well, I'll just get all revengeful on your ass. I hate mean people. So stop being mean and go get better at your writing, everyone.
