Introduction: Alrighty, yes, this is Emotingagain (/~emotingagain), Annie King, however you'd like to call me. This penname is dedicated solely to the 'Of Spies and Assassins' trilogy. I might, if I find ever more time to write, add in other stories like OSaA, revolving around said genre. Of Spies and Assassins. I don't know is that's going to be the overall trilogy title or the title of book one. I’ve currently got a "working title" for books one, two, and three. Book one is subtitled "Lust," two is subtitled "Feud," and three is subtitled "Renegade." Simple, and yet I believe their simplicity delves into the realm of catchiness with the head title as Of Spies and Assassins. But, perhaps that is merely my opinion and you don't agree with it. I'm always iffy with my story titles when I really like the story. I can never find the... perfect one. So, if you ever dream up something amazing for this trilogy as you read it, please let me know via email, review, AIM, etc. I'd be much obliged.
Now, this trilogy is upped in rating merely because, yes, it does move into the area of "vampire romance novel" in some parts. It is not, per say, a vampire romance, or one of those gothic romance novels you hide beneath your bed to keep your mom from seeing the "artsy" cover of the handsome man holding the scantily clad and ever-loving woman in his arms or on his bed... It will have more than enough of those "moments," those areas where you think there might be a bed involved and maybe a present nine months later... but in actuality, I'm not sure how far that will go. Sensuality? Most definitely. Swearing? Naturally, but not excessive. I find that redundant. Romance? Indeed. Comedy? Of course! Violence? The name says it all. So, in that, yes. A T rating for now. We'll see if I don't up it later...
My dream is to create a story that you will read and enjoy. You will be able to go back to chapters when you are in a depressed or bitter mood and laugh at Cliff's jovial banter and innuendos. I want you to be able to relate to Kail's insecurities and Dae's fierce pride and hidden angst. All my characters have their flaws, as do we all. I want you to see them as I do; almost real... standing on that border between fiction and nonfiction. I want you to become a part of my world as you read it. I want you to read of the betrayal, the lust, the desire, the hope and despair, friendship and love and know that it is real, and it is happening, jut in different ways, and without the supernatural twists my mind added to this story.
So, without further ado, I introduce you to Of Spies and Assassins.
