Author has written 18 stories for Biography, Humor, General, Young Adult, Kids, Essay, Spiritual, Sci-Fi, and Horror.

I have been writing since I was little, most of it stemming from the love of reading my mother instilled in me from birth. Like most young girls, I began writing about castles and dragons and princesses, all of it filled with the romance of fairytales that children are bombarded with. Then the real world set in, and about the only time I wrote anything was for a class assignment. That way of life shifted again when I entered high school and the furor of teenage angst set in. I co-wrote stories that my friend and I labeled as "Deaths," as the main characters in the stories walked into some sort of ironic demise. After high school, I wrote "Sometimes you just have to say..." as a tribute to high school memories because most of it was just too amusing to forget.

My writing style, however, has changed dramatically since entering the writing program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and it continues to develop the more I write.

I am the co-editor of Sushi Tuesday, which is where I place most of my shorter thoughts of daily life. You can check it out by clicking the link to my homepage.
