"Suppose that you and I were sitting in a quiet room overlooking a garden,
chatting and sipping at our cups of green tea while we talked about something that had happened a long while ago,
and I said to you..."

x- If you want to know about a writer, there is no need to ask questions. If you seek words, they need not be spoken to hold any particular significance. If you wish to have direct answers to your questions, it is not to a writer that you will go... sometimes the simplest of answers are worth those 500 pages that it takes.
-x- I am perhaps a lot more like you than you think. I like to call myself a writer, though I'm not all that elaborate. Some say we have poetic minds, you and I- maybe they're right, and maybe they mean it in a positive way- others say that living in our heads will beget suffocating ourselves with dreams and obsessions that will never take form. But, isn't a story a form? isn't a poem a form? Can we not give life to those things that so many people think are untrue? That is a gift that we have, you and I- and if those people would just search a little furthur, they'd find that they have it too- that little graine d'artiste, that is just waiting for some attention to start to grow.
-x- We are free to write what we like. Insulting a writer through the chosen theme of his story is like berating a person for thinking what he thinks, for believing what he believes, for loving what he loves. Constructive criticism helps more than you think- just because of your encouragement, a writer may bloom into something magnificent. Compliments are candy for the soul... bearing this in mind, what do you say we exchange thoughts for each other's fiction, hmm? (:
