I hope you like my stories and for all those who liked the Mail Order Bride, thank you...Bad news though I am out of ideas for the story and I've lost complete interest in writing it. I'm sorry, one day maybe I'll get the interest back and when I do I'll make sure the last chapter is really good, I promise!
The story I'm working on now is called Queen Of The Night Sky about two young women who are both part native americans. The story is about two sisters, Emmaline the twenty five year old vampire, and her little sister, Amber, who comes to live with her after their parents are killed in a car accident. However, normal for the two sisters isn't sitting around the dinner table talking about clothes and shopping. For instance, try reaching in the fridge for a soda and coming out with a bottle of fresh blood. However, their world is turned upside down when Emmaline learns her eye-shaped birthmark marks as the future queen of all vampires, to add to this shock a vampire hunter from her recent past is back...Only he wants to keep her alive and wants all other vampires dead. Why? Gotta read the story to find that out.
The story follows both Emmaline and Amber.
Main Characters:
Emmaline McBatham - Emmaline is 25 years old in human years, in vampire years she's three. When she was one vampire year old a vampire hunter by the name of Kurtis McTraggor tried to kill her; luckily she was able to fight him off with the help of her sire, Vampire Consable Rick O' Keefan, who is also her love interest. Emmaline's a sweet woman, well vampire, she's a little shy but she's very strong, determined and when she sets down rules she expects you to follow them (just ask Amber). When she receives word her parents are dead and her little sister, Amber, is in the hospital she goes to her sister, then signs the guardianship papers. Her worst fears are something happening to Amber that she can't stop, and having to tell Rick one day how she feels about him...If it's not too late and he's found a love interest of his own.
Amber McBatham- Amber is 15 years old, after her parents' deaths she goes to live with her older sister, Emmaline, and learns her sister can't die unless she's killed because she's a vampire. Amber feels like Emmaline is 'ruining her life', 'strangling her', not giving her enough privacy, and more. She also feels that Emmaline is trying to be like her mother and hates it, she accuses Emmaline of nagging. (which Emmaline does do from time to time.) Most of the time she's so caught up in her own world she doesn't notice how hard her sister is trying to take care of her, and keep her safe; she only notices her sister's emotions once in a while. Amber is fascinated by the vampire world and when she learns her sister is destined to be the Queen of all vampires she's blown away. Amber is a good friend, she matures more as the story goes on and learns that she has to be careful of others emotions as well.
Rick O' Keefan - Rick O' Keefan is a Vampire Constable, in other words he's a vampire cop and soldier rolled into one. He's very attractive and can't stop himself from flirting; he's Emmaline's sire and has fallen in love with Emmaline secretly, he leads her to believe he only has a little bit of interest in her. He's very mysterious and more will be learned about him as the story goes on.
Kurtis McTraggor- Kurtis McTraggor is a 38 year old Vampire Hunter, he's also...Insane. He wants to be immortal and have as much power as he possibly can; he's obsessed with Emmaline for more reasons than one. However he knows better than to try to kidnap her, instead he's very careful on when he decides to show up in different parts of the story.
Alex Rittington- Alex Rittington is a vampire elder, he's over a thousand years old, to hide his identity he refers to himself as a vampire constable (as all elders do) until a vampire meets the elders face to face. Which in most cases isn't too good. Alex is a rich architect and is opening his own business, he found Emmaline when he went to a meeting to become business partners with Thomas Inglestone. He visits Emmaline at her apartment and reveals to her who he really is.
Ariel Trenton- Ariel is Amber's best friend and the only person, besides Rick (who Amber doesn't know very well), or Emmaline she can rant too about those times when it sucks to have a vampire for a sister. Ariel is a sweet and soft spoken girl who tries to keep a clear mind no matter what.
