Name: Adrienne

Birthday: You know V for Vendetta? Yes that's right...Remember the 5th of November

Sign: Scorpio

Favorite Stone: Topaz...and not just because it's my birth stone, I think it's really pretty...I like Topaz on my rings rather than diamonds

I'm a Junior in high school, 17 years old, overly sarcastic and a very bad temper. I know, like you really needed to know that :)

I love to read and write. Music is amazing...nuff said. I don't really watch that much TV but I will watch movies. I have a problem with TV shows and commercials. I don't really like using the phone, it's too impersonal. Generally, I don't like technology but the television, computer, and anything that plays music I'm ok with...to an extent anyway.

Favorite Books: Harry Potter, Twilight Series, Stravaganza Series, Vampire Kisses Series, The Queen's Fool, The Other Boleyn Girl, every S.E. Hinton novel that I've read, Romeo and Juliet, The Chosen and its sequel The Promise, Ella Enchanted, The Two Princesses of Bamarre, Virgin: Prelude to the Throne, Artemis Fowl, Troy, Catcher in the Rye, Doomed Queen Anne...I also have a small philosophy section in my library. From the book titles, you can guess that I like historical fiction a lot, and vampires :)

Favorite Movies: V For Vendetta, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter (not the third), Troy, King Arthur, Gladiator, Cinderella Man, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Day After Tomorrow, Moulin Rouge, Top Gun, A Few Good Men, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Father of the Bride Part I and Part II, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days, Henry VIII, Spider-Man, Superman series, Superman Returns, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pride & Prejudice, Tristan & Isolde, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Miss Congeniality, The Breakfast Club, History of the World Part I, Star Wars, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, American Outlaws, X-Men Trilogy, Munich, Bedazzled, Ever After, Shakespeare in Love, Gangs of New York, Underworld and Underworld Evolutions, Master and Commander, Ned Kelly, The Producers, The Outsiders, She's the Man, The Mask of Zorro, Back to the Future Trilogy, Closer, Interview with a Vampire, and Minority Report...those were a few, the ones I think are best and are in no particular order, also, that's without the disney movies haha

Music: My Chemical Romance, The Ramones, Queen, Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Def Leppard, Shiny Toy Guns, Stereophonics, Nirvana, Metallica, Cold Play, Panic! At The Disco, Stellastarr, Rise Against...I also like Classical music and movie scores such as, Harry Potter, Troy, King Arthur, etc...My favorite classical song would be Claire de Lune and some others, including Toccata and Fugue in D minor by Bach...Oh, the music from select Cirque du Soleil shows that I've attended is also really good.

My second language is Russian and I live on the east coast of the good old USA...yay! I'll probably update this some more at a later time...If you want to know something about me just send me a message and I will answer it and/or post it here :)

Right, so I went to the My Chemical Romance concert in Philadelphia at Temple University on 2/25/07 and it was amazing! They're absolutley brilliant live! My feet hurt though and I had some trouble speaking the next day but it was all so worth it, I loved it. It was the best night of my life! Just thought I'd share...

This is my favortie poem, I love it's meaning...

Invictus -- William Ernest Henley

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

This is another poem that I like, I found it in Brit Lit in the enormous volume we call a text book :) I think it describes how some females may feel in a relationship...

By the time you swear you're his,
Shivering and sighing
And he vows his passion is,
Infinite, undying --
Lady, make a note of this:
One of you is lying.

~By Dorothy Parker
