NEWS! Or rather, a vague (but reasonable!) excuse why I'm not updating.
Let me see...
It's been about 3 months since I've last updated, and I'm amazed at how laziness can cripple a person. That's not to say I've been really lazy, but since I've finished my semester back in April, I've been busy being really...lazy. Yup, that's primarily the reason why I haven't done much work, or anything for that matter - unless you're talking about school, because that's a different story.
Honestly, it just feels really good to relax for a long, long, long time, especially after a taxing semester. Then again, in my case, I think I've done a little too much relaxing... -Cough-
Either way, while I haven't been doing a lot of planning and story-writing in general, I've pretty much been exposing myself to all types of media that involves writing in one vague form or another. Books, Japanese light novels, manga, anime episodes, philosophies of certain men in the past, and too much thinking. Unfortunately, I haven't done the age-old adage followed by writers, and pretty much everyone else in the whole world: In order to improve on writing, you must write, write, write! Damn you, I said write!!
Which I haven't done. -Coughs-
Anyways, I was able to reflect on a number of stories and their current progression, the possibility of me actually finishing the said story, and how much I actually want to deviate from my original plan for the FP crowd. To cite an example, it's the Untitled Story. I said before there was an Japanese and an English Version to it, but the thing is, the English Version is so different that most people would consider it to be a entirely new story, although the philosophies are somewhat the same. The Japanese Version...I've actually considered publishing this due to the sheer amount of work I've placed on it, so there are two versions: The FP Version and the Novelization.
The FP Version follows the original plan I've laid out, so no worries there, but the differences between the two, despite having the same setting and characters, made them two different stories. The ideas, themes, events, and their chronological format are just vastly different - I doubt it would be superior to the original, but when you NEED two different titles to accurately sum up the content in a few words...yeah, I'm sure you get it.
Next issue: Reviews.
One of the most controversial (Not really), mystifying (Huh?), complicated (It's easy), incomprehensible (You're an Idiot) topic in the whole entirety of FP (Maybe). With that said, I've decided to redo the entire way I do reviews from now on. Well, not really, but it'll definitely be in a more timely fashion. I guarantee it! So, I'll be figuring out a new review policy to follow, and to temporarily suspend my current policy - Too much leeway and I'm not really that self-disciplined...I don't think.
Next issue: Stories.
They're being removed with the exception of the Eternally Revolving World. That's it.
Next issue: ??
Watch. Kurenai. Now. That is all.
Well, that should be it. See ya on June 22, 2008!
Right, I forgot to mention PCAT since that'll be why I have such an extended break. Oh well, see ya!!
Review Policy (Suspended): If you, as the reader and/or writer, take the time to read and review my stories, then I will read your most recent work (If available) and review that. However, I tend to write long reviews and get very picky at some details, but don't take it personally. It is my way of saying, "You are a good writer, but these points are what I believe you have to work on". All reviews will be reciprocated on the most convenient time for me, be it hours, days, weeks, or even months, but I will review you!
If you have anything to nitpick or criticize about, no matter how important or how insignificant it may be (in a constructive manner, of course), you'll definitely be one of my favorite reviewers! So, what are you waiting for? Start nit-picking at everything! Don't even think of holding back!
