About Me

My real name is Sarah, and my birthday is on Halloween. Yes, I do love it. Candy and presents all on one night! It's heaven, man. And always remember that trick-or-treating is NOT immature. Heck, my best friend, Valerie, and I will be trick-or-treating till we're eighty! Then, we'll be pushing little kids out of the way with our walkers. Oh, yea!

I'm in the tenth grade, which makes me really, really happy for one reason: NO MORE HEALTH AND NO MORE MR. WELLINGTON!!!!!! Yea. If you went to Eastside High School here in the AV, you'd understand, because the man is PURE EVIL ON A FREAKING STICK. I don't really like him, in case you haven't noticed. :~)

I have a really, really strange sense of humor. I mean, I find almost everything funny. And Tall Guy (one of my guy friends) and I create animals. And we have also invented a chimpanzee named Jojo the Canadian Monkey. He's cool. All this because of the stupid Wal-Mart vs. Panda Express story!

My favorite authors include Stephanie Meyer, Tamora Pierce, Melissa Marr, and Holly Black. Their books are really, really freaking good. Check them out some time, if you haven't.

Aside from the strange thing with animals, I also love talking, writing, thinking, swimming, trying to play tennis (I swear, the game HATES me. I can never hit the ball, but it always manages to hit ME), going to the movies, watching movies, playing online, staying up as late as I possibly can just because I can, playing Scrabble, and making my friends cower at my use of big words. It's the very best.

I am what you call a "Music Garbage Can." I will listen to, and more than likely like, almost any kind of music, save for hip hop, rap, and bubblegum pop. Ugh. Those are just scary. I love rock music. My favorite band at the moment is Paramore. My favorite song changes daily, so no use posting it here when it'll be different tomorrow. Right?

Well, in the immortal words of Porky Pig, "Th-th-th-th-that's all, folks!"

Random Quotes

"Grandma, it's four in the morning, you win! I'm sitting on Baltic with crap and I'm paying luxury tax out the ass. And I hate it when you're the banker! Where'd you get those pink fifties, you cheating whore? Don't touch me grandpa! Nana is a cheating whore! And I should cut your head off with this little doggie!" --Dane Cook.

"Stupid shiny Volvo owner..." --Stephenie Meyer

"We should call nail11." --Casey S.

Existing Stories

Cry of the Dove. Alison is unique in a way that is strange, even to strange people; she can see and talk to ghosts. But her ancient gift, which seems more of a curse than anything else, leaves her with the peculiar sense that there is more to her power, and the strange world she finds herself in. When she meets Joshua, a Revolutionary War spirit who is there to help guide her through the treacherous spirit world her power's opened up for her, she finds that the spirit who is supposed to make her life easier is only making things harder. And when dark shades begin invading both her world and the spirit world, she realizes that things don't become any easier when you're dead. War is brewing, an ancient struggle between Light and Dark, and Alison is torn between the delicious power the dark shades have offered her and the Light itself. Her decision, and that of Nathan's, can end a never-ending war and put power in the hands of either the Dark or the Light. It all balances on the blade of a sword as all of reality holds its breath as she makes the choice that will lead everything either into eternal Light or eternal Darkness.

Breaking Point. Chloe is what every girl wants to be: beautiful, smart, strong, and too powerful to ignore. Oh, and immortal, a gift that only cost her mortality. But then again, all vampires are immortal, right? Fierce and beautiful, horrible and lovely, Chloe is about as inhuman as they come. With a persistent bloodlust that leaves her doubled over from the fiery pain in her throat, it's all worth it when you have unlimited strength, power, and time at your disposal. But when she comes across a peculiar family, all of it changes. They are an uncommon tope of coven, one that feeds only on animal blood. No human blood for them! She rapidly grows accustomed to the strange new diet and the peculiar sense of relief that replaces the awful guilt. She soon feels that she can try her hand at beeing a normal human teenager and enrolls herself into high school. She watches with a smile as her new life falls into place. But soon, it is all threatened by an incredible human boy with rich, sweet blood that is impossible to ignore. A story of repressing instincts, fantasy, dreams, new love, and passion so fierce it almost burns. This is the first of the Daughter of the Night series.

Wishing Upon a Dream. Sarah, the one that is seperate from the herd. Sarah, the smart one. Sarah, the fatal idiot. When she meets Ethan, all changes for both the better and worse. She soon discovers that this impossible and improbable boy is a little more than the average human. He's far from, in fact. And when she learns of a horrible destiny that awaits them both, she is faced with a terrible choice: go with Fate or forget everything about Ethan. What will she choose?

The Torn. The sky was her sanctuary, her life now consumed with horrormovietype creatures, some more horrible than others. When she falls in love with one of these creatures, her life is put into danger, irreversible and frighteningly beautiful. And frightening is right. There is more to this world of strange new creatures than the fact that they exist. Melanie is part of an ancient prophecy. She goes from a normal young lady of Victorian society to Warrior Queen of Victorian society. Life is wonderful, don't you think? Especially when there are creatures who are just itching to snatch to Crown right from her head, even if they have to cut it off to get to it.

Face of the Moon. Elenie is a modern, very nonbelieving normal girl. She isn't accepted in her hometown, and she doesn't mind so much. But during a fateful walk through the woods, that all changes when she becomes one of the Light Ones. And the Dark Ones aren't too happy for her at this moment. Because her presence in any of the faerie courts threatens their way of life, and their pet shadows. Will she make it out of the Hill alive and human or will she die in the attempt?
