U.S. Marine by trade, U.S. Marine by spirit. My Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) is 4341, combat correspondent. Ever seen Full Metal Jacket? Remember Joker? That's essentially me, both in MOS and personality. So that's what I do now, report military news for the Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., base paper, the Desert Warrior. I've been in the Corps for a approximately two years. Along with running, writing's always been my passion. I suppose that's why I chose journalism as my military profession.
