Hello and welcome!
I am an avid reader and writer, and you can see all of my public writings here. I enjoy reading history, historic fiction, fantasy and poems. But more important, I enjoy reading the Bible. I am a Christian, and it is my prayer that all that I do and say will bring honor and glory to my Lord and King, Jesus Christ.
Some of my favorite books are: The Bible (inspired by God), The Chronicles of Narnia and Mere Christianity (by C. S. Lewis), Little Women (by Louisa May Alcott), all books by G. A. Henty (that are currently in print), and the Redwall series (by Brian Jacques).
Please feel free to make comments and CC (constructive criticism) on my writings. Both of them, especially the CC, helps me to become a better writer.
My family and I have just moved, so I have been very busy. I have also seemed to lose my public inspiration, (I’m still writing, but not for the public eyes to see), so I don’t have any new writings to put up here except for one I wrote in August of 2007 that should have an accompanying story, but doesn’t. It’s “Story-Teller’s Beginning: A Prologue”.
However, in the move, I’ve found some old writings of mine that I wrote when I was 13 and 14, so I’m putting up the ones I like (that’s almost all of them) in stages. I only plan to do necessary editing like spelling and grammar, so you’ll see the originals. In the future, I might use these story snippets and poems as jumping off ideas for future writings and a jump start for my lagging inspiration.
As I put them up, I will list them below and note the date they were written, the date I put them here, and any extra notes that I might have.
