Author has written 10 stories for Fantasy, Supernatural, General, Love, Life, and Friendship. Hey, I'm Ari, an aspiring fiction writer like many of you here. I'm happy to say that I'm finally getting around to writing my original fiction, and moving on for fan fiction. I've not yet finished any original work, but I'm hoping to change that now. Any help or advice you may have is welcomed, as are all reviews I get. Anyway, I'm sixteen, and I've been writing casually and on and off for about four years now. I've been trying to grow out of my fan fiction niche, but only did it now. I don't really have much to put here, but I figured I'd make it look like I was at least trying a little bit. Hah...News! Sometime, perhaps very soon, I will unveil a story that I've been working on with TheRoyalWe for ages(about four years) here on fictionpress. It may take us a while, as this is a story we're writing slowly, so as not to loose steam, but we're working up to that point. Don't count in it happening soon, but I'm hoping it will. Current stories: Icon Of Fersson: Status: On hiatus due to a complete lack of anything even resembling inspiration for it. The Bane Of Julian: Status: ERM... I lost chapter three, and I can't find it... I may rewrite it completely, but I may end up scraping this story and trying a different one with the same characters. Real Life: Status: Ean into a block somewhere along the line. Maybe I'll keep going, maybe I won't... Poems: Romance: Something I wrote while on vacation and thought was just adorable. Please read it, I thought it was sweet, and it's short enough to not take too much time out of your busy schedule. Wooden Nickle: Well, a lot of you won't understand the imagery, and I don't blame you. They're things sorta taken from my own life, so they don't make much sense as references unless you know me. Still a nice one, I thought. What I want: It just came to me, and saddly, like so many of my poems, I wrote it in about ten minutes and posted it without waiting... I think it's good, but I can see if others wouldn't. Friendship Before Love: Well, this is actually something I feel is emotion in words, or as close as I can come to making something like that. It spoke to me from the page when I wrote it, so I kept it, and I'm growing to like it. Friends: It's a tragedy. It's something that I see happen to groups of friends, to people who like each other, but they don't seem to understand that it's dragging you apart, rather than pulling you together. It's like being packed in like sardines. Yes, you're closer, but eventually the can will burst. Favorite Reviewer: Ah, yes, many people have this section, as do I. Lccorp2 is mine. Thank you for doing the best you thought of to root out crappyness in my story, IoF, because it's actually criticism, rather than fluff. However good of you that was, I kinda think you've been doing it too much, and have gotten into a rut, thinking all of the stories that start one way are the same. Though I see where you're coming from entirely, and I appriciate the try, I started it that way because I didn't want it to end out that way. It's a little backwards, but there you have it. The classic start, but I wanted to add reality into it so it didn't remain the classic story. Anyway, thank you, because it's useful to remember that, even if I think it started off on my story and went onto a rant of other things. | |||||||
