My name's Scott and I'm only half serious about wanting to be a cherry
blossom.
I'm a Thomas Pynchon acolyte and place more importance on character than any
other element, although setting and history (I don’t think history is an
element proper, but in my writing it’s key) are close seconds. I love the
concept of Magic Realism. It makes me vibrate. I love sentences
that span on for lines and hyper-saturated conceits and flowery language and
flourishes of the pen and the rubicund speckles I see after having written
something sublime. I have more loves towards literature that dislikes,
but if I had to name one, it would be Propaganda. If I get the feeling
I'm reading propaganda, and the author isn't insightful enough to realize what
he or she is doing, then I have no business with that author.
