Author has written 68 stories for Life, Love, General, Fantasy, Essay, General, Nature, Young Adult, War, Haiku, Friendship, Humor, and Romance. Hello there... I've been on hiatus for a very long time now, but once September rolls around, the poetry will continue and I'm to get the next installation of Against a Heartbeat up anyday now!! You can call me katt (I go by xkatt in reviews :). My work is something that is heart felt and you don't have to agree with it, but it's something that I hope you can related to. Reviews are always welcomed (and I love them, who doesn't?), whether good or bad. With that said have fun reading my stuff and if you don't want to that's cool too. Ohh (I guess this is a PS): A LOT of my poems are about love and although I don't know all the secrets of the heart I try my best to make sense of it with the feelings that overcome me through miscellaneous inspirations. Most of those inspirations come from the guys I happen to like at the time. My longest poem on here (called Our Hate-Love Battle (and there are other poems)) was inspired by this guy John who I liked for a long time and he was a couple of years older than me, so that right there explains a TON in the poem. Then, I started to like this guy named Robert. We were REALLY good friends and then something happened and we more more than friends. It was this HUGE ordeal and looking back I'm not too proud of the way I handeled the situation. The poems (Ex's and O's; Sorry; Let's Talk Love; Adieu and other poems which I have not posted and don't know if I will post them) were influenced by him. He gave me a lot to think about... Then there was this tiny, tiny fling thingie with this Italian guy named Luca. The poems (Thoughts of Yesterday and Bliss (one of my favorite poems)) are about him which are about our kind of summer romance...hehe. Afterwards, I got hooked on this guy Eric for like 6/7 months (the second longest time I've liked a guy, John being the first with me liking him for a whole year). Anyways, the poem (Matches) is about him and I think I've written others which I might post sometime soon. Now there's this guy Doug who I'm not sure if I like because...well it would take too long to explain and then it would still be confusing, but things are complicated, and not complicated in that are we or are we not going out stage, it's way different. Anywho, I think I might actually like him because I've already written several poems about him (Leaving Hope and Today). If you want to know more about this situation maybe you'll get some clues in the poems... Doug is currently over and there's no one else right now, fyi. In addition, there are other poems that I've written about friendships. I've been betrayed by some of my friends and that hurts A LOT. The poems that I have written about friendships (Isolation; Shadow; Cheers to Betrayal; and Look Me in the Eyes) are very angsty. With that said, enjoy! Stuff about me: I don't like alarm clocks. Love snow and summer. Love chocolate and English is my favorite subject because I actually like it. Love volleyball and am horrible at running yet I am still on track. I want a dream to come true for once in my life while I'm still young enough to have it. I've never seen a shooting star and that saddens me. My favorite color is green. I wish that I could die from laughing too hard and take things too seriously sometimes. I'm also a HUGE sucker for Romance. I'm just in love with the concept of love I guess... Favorite Movie: A Walk to Remember (if you have not seen this movie, you have not lived!) Favorite Authors: Scott Westerfeld, Meg Cabot and Cate Teirney (I forget how to spell her last name, but she wrote the Sweep series and they are amazing) Favorite Books: I have too too many, but a couple include: The Sweep series, Need (I highly recommend it), Uglies Trilogy (by Scott Westerfeld), and the 1-800-Where-R-U series (by Meg Cabot.) Some great books if you have nothing else to read... I also have an account on fanfiction and I would be honored if you check me out. My user name there is Edward's Symphony! I am also great friends with the user Kenna-Kat11. Her stories are AMAZINGG and she is such an inspiration to me so make sure you pay her a visit.
