HI

There are two kinds of people in the world: the kind that will jump up and join Giselle in singing a song that they've never even heard before in the middle of New York City, and the kind that will stare at her like she is insane.

MY STORIES

This is a list of all of my stories that I have posted here and a basic plot summary for each of them (check the italics for the very basic and most important parts of the summaries):

It Was Destiny: Romance. Just for fun. Mostly just for fun. I am absolutely in love with the format. I think it's coming out okay.

Romeo and Juliet Spoof: Comedy. Spoof. Just for fun. Written in script format, and it's in English, not Shakespearean. It looks long since it's all in one chapter, but it moves pretty quickly. People with the same sense of humor as me will think it's hilarious. (And I know for a fact that there are at least a few people like that out there.)

The Mystery That Is High Towers: "Gothic Mystery". It was originally a school assignment. I actually think that it's one of the best things I've ever written. The title of the assignment was "Gothic Mystery", which is pretty self-explanatory.

Greenhouse to Graveyard: Poem. About how people are destroying the earth. This is something I feel really strongly about, and I think it shows in the writing. I really like the way it came out.

I Am Told: Poem. ANTI-RELIGIOUS. This is also something I feel really strongly about. Please don't tell me that God loves me, and I'll find him soon enough. I'll believe in God when his or her existence can be proven to me, no sooner - although possibly later. I really like the way it came out.

Goodbye: Poem. Death and dying. About cancer. Very Sad. Or, at least, supposed to be. I really like the way it came out.

Why Me: Poem. Angst. A complaint to the world about all that goes wrong in life. I think it came out okay.

I'm Ready To Do It: Poem. Suicide. No I am not suicidal. So stop worrying about me. It just makes a really good poem.I really like the way it came out.

You Don't Know Me: Poem. I am me. You are not. So stop pretending it's the other way around. I think it came out okay.

Las Fantasmas: Poem. Spanish. Fantasmas. Written as an assignment for a level three honors spanish class. Spanish is my second language and I'm still learning it(in case you couldn't guess by the fact that it was written for a spanish class) so if there are mistakes please tell me so I can fix them. I think it came out pretty well.

You Brought This Upon Yourselves: Poem. Religion (sort of). People blame God for all that is wrong in the world, then they pray to God so that he'll make it all better. But God is not the one who made things this way. We have no one to blame but ourselves. I really like the way this came out. (No, this does not contradict my "I Am Told" poem, so I don't want to hear it.)

Frederick Nathaniel Cunningham AKA Fred: Biography. Just for fun. Semi-fictional. This is what comes of spending four straight hours playing with a ouija board at a sleep-over party. My friends and I met "Fred". This is his story. Basically, I just wrote down everything that I could remember about Fred. It's up to you whether or not you believe that you can really talk to dead people through a ouija board. FRED RULES! I think it came out pretty well.

The Fascinating Adventures of Welda the Witch: Short story. Just for fun.A school assignment to write a short story using vocabulary words. Very short. Mostly pointless, but also fun.

The Nameless Soldiers: Poem. War. I am always struck by the patriotic image of solders, particularly that of a cemetery for soldiers (https://www.msu.edu/~charnle2/WWII2007/hamm207w.jpg) with the rows and rows of identical white tombstones. It makes me feel like the soldiers themselves are lost in the glory of their deaths. We forget that each of those gravestones represents a single person who had more to their life than just dieing. And we forget that, as well as dieing, they did a lot of killing in the war.

Words that aren't Quite Perfect: Poem. Love and Friendship. Inspired by my moving out and away from all my friends. and by how much I miss them all. It's not written in my usual style, but I really love how it came out.
