"Judge me and I'll prove you wrong"

Hiya! I'm Ebonina

I actually joined Fictionpress on 07-14-06 as Starlight507 but mucked up that account :P

Facts about me

My real names Laura and I have also have very weird nicknames e.g. Birdie, It, Laura the Explorer, Thing, Thingymabob...

I'm a girl defiantly and glad to be!

I'm 16 and have been since the 14th January 2008

From England but a quarter Scottish

A problem I have is that I have a very short attention span (according to my friend smaller then an atom but I personally don't think its that small!)

I'm a happy and positive person, except in the morning when I'm just plain grumpy, you'll be lucky to get an answer out of me

I'm also quite shy

When I'm older I want to live in Scotland

I live with a family of four people My Mum, Dad, Younger brother (who I christen Brat)

Pets are three gerbils, two budgies, two fish and a dalmatian...not many

I'm always changing my profile

I like SUGAR!!

My talents are being lazy and eating lots!

At the moment I am studying my GCSEs so I may not update so much as I'm busy trying to catch up with a load of coursework, damn I always get behind somehow!

Writing break over!

Poems

Monkeys: A random poem about... yup you've guessed it Monkeys!

The Waterfall: A haiku about a waterfall, this one, Ice and Monkeys were in my poem project for english years ago.

Ice: Simple things can be so easily over looked, such as Ice.

Count your Blessings: Actually based on a story that I am writing-see if you can guess which. Quite weird but I think people can learn from it.

Stories

Completed

The Haunted House: Done for a competition in my English class ages ago, I wrote it the night it had to be in. But it came runner up and I won a box of chocolate buttons (although it was also read out in in class, very embarrassing I can assure you)

A young girl playing a prank on Halloween, an old ghost who wants to be free of the house of her death. What are the chances of Cassandra getting out alive?

Cassandra enters a house to sit at the window and pretend to be a girl who died there years ago, scaring passers walking by, one things for certain, she never thought she was going to meet the real thing, who, as it happens wants to escape the house that she died and and to do so she needs a human sacrifice.-Oneshot

Trapped: A short story which I did for my tutor when I was in year 6, either 2002 or 2003. A kids story which I have re-written.

Dilly and her dog Lucky are trapped on an island with their friend Puffin, but the question is, how do they get home?

She had no idea how they landed on this island, she doesn't know how to get home, she doesn't even know where home is! But how can the nightmares that Dilly keeps having, help her get back?

Currently Working on

Lucy: I came up with this one in a science lesson 2004, unsure of how, its quite different from what I normally write.

A short little story about a young deaf but devoted dog whose determination to find her kidnapped owner, helps her to become a hero.

When young Annie Jones and her friends Maria and Lisa went to the park that day, they thought it was just one ordinary day until they stumble upon a secret that was not meant to be discovered and have to pay for what they heard. Luckily Annie's deaf dalmatian, with the help of the mysterious Sean Oliver, is on the kidnapped girls trail, but what will happen when "the group" unleash their devious plan.

Thorns and Roses: The Beginning: The first one in my Thorns and Roses series, it's actually completed but when looking over it I realised there was quite a lot to change, while re-writing this story I lost the old copy and had to start from scratch, then I re-found the old copy and I am currently trying to write the new version but I'm still working out how... uggh.

When Hero-May Vaughan stumbles upon the house of the Palermo's-the animal guardians, she learns long forgotten and unknown things about herself, helps protect the guardian gems, finds romance and makes unbreakable friendships that will last a lifetime.

It all starts one normal day when Hero meets Fabio Palermo after getting lost on the woods once again. He helps get her back on her feet and introduces her to his relatives Diego and Kai, leading to Hero discovering their hidden secrets and her own ties to the family.

The Great Guardian: Don't have much to say about this one, but when I was trying to improve my wrting skills a while ago this little story just popped up.

At first she thinks it poses a threat, then discovers it was trying to protect her...

A dying wizard leaves a spooky guardian in charge of the heirs to his power but when Rebekah Barker spots the Guardian and gets the wrong idea she nearly leads her brother and friends to their deaths.

If the future is bright...

Lots and lots, probably to many...
