Author has written 3 stories for Fantasy, and Romance. - THE WRITER - Name: Olivia (Liv or Livvy for short, though I've also been called Via, Bubbles, Fritzi, and God only knows what else before) Age: 14 Hobbies: Writing (um, duh), reading (also pretty obvious ... ), listening to music, drawing, cooking, making strange and unusual (but cool) jewelry, singing (mostly when no one's listening - even though I've been told before that I'm pretty good - but even that sometimes can't stop me), and so many others things ... Favorite book: Evernight by Claudia Gray Favorite band: Bullet for my Valentine (at the moment, anyway - it changes a lot) Currently reading: Deadly Little Lies by Laurie Faria-Stolarz Last song listened to: "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey My mood right now: excited (about ... well, a lot of things) My av: Now, originally, I'd planned to just keep the "Raven" one until I changed my pen name again, but then I got the idea for this one and simply couldn't help myself (I've used it before, but back then I hadn't put the "merman" thing on it yet). My previous pen names: And so, I think that's pretty much all you absolutely need to know about me; I often feel that my writing can tell you more about me than anythng else. Oh, but something else I felt I really just had to add ... Five FP Stories That Your Life Will Be Incomplete if You Do Not Read (in my opinion, anyway; really, I could probably go on with this list forever, but I thought just five would be a good number to stop at): 1. Guardian by She is so Faux Pas (she's got several really, really great stories, but I decided only to put my absolute favorite of them on here in order to leave room for these other really, really great stories) 2. Blood and Champagne by Zoe Windsor (changes her pen name just about as much as I do - if not more - so sorry if the one I have here becomes outdated) 3. The Hurricane of My Life by Insanely Random 4. Tomato Love by cheeselover8271996 (both this and The Hurricane of My Life are kind of like my escapes, something nice and light and overall different from what I normally read) 5. The Vampire's Daughter by Harriet Usher (lots of wonderful, Victorian vampire goodness in here) So, there ya have it. Awesome stuff here, people - and awesome authors, too, both as writers and as people overall. READ THEIR STORIES! Now, please - if you even actually had the patience to read through all that - do read on ... - THE PICTURES - First, we have the cars. Oh, the cars, the beautiful cars. I'm quite particular about what kind of cars my characters have. Though all these haven't even come into The Merman's Kiss quite yet, I thought it might amuse you to see pictures of them now anyway (oh, and keep in mind that I don't really pay attention to where I get these from; I just Google it and choose the best pictures): Andrea's Oldsmobile Starfire (my personal favorite, though the 350Z's pretty cool, too; I just love old cars) And now we also have the cars from She Loved Him Not: Gabe's Aston Martin (sadly, I couldn't find many details about it on the website, but I believe it's a late 1960's DB6) Vivienne's 1973 Ford F-100 (yes, I am defying the stereotype - it's not red!) Most of these I decided on pretty easily myself; I just had to think of the character, and it seemed pretty obvious what kind of car they'd drive. All of them except Thrice; for that one, I had to enlist my brother's help, but every time he suggested a car, I kept saying "Too flashy", "Too cute", "Too girly", "Too corny" (for suggestions that had "sea" in the name or something like that), or just plan "Too ugly". So, much thanks goes to him for not giving up trying to help me find the perfect car until we had found it (although, actually, the 350Z was one of his first suggestions, but I had originally thought it was too cute; I changed my mind, though, after seeing a different model ... ). Oh, and he did help me a little bit with Gabe's car, too, though I already had the picture of it in my head - my brother just had to help me remember what kind of car it was. And next, there's the lovely zebra-print bubble dress that Gemma wore in chapter thirty-four of The Merman's Kiss (there's more about it in chapter thirty-one, which I will be getting up in un momento). Only, imagine it with no bow and a darker ribbon, and just overall a little less frilly (and, well, not 140 ... ) - and pay no attention to the strange Photobucket username; a friend chose it for me a while ago. And, yes, I could go and find pictures of actors that I think look like my characters, too, but for one thing, I don't want to ruin your mental image of them - and, for another, I have a lot of characters which I don't think it would be possible to find real people that look like them. - THE STORIES - Where on earth did all the stories go? you might be wondering right about now. Daylight, Red Roses, Cold Moon, both the original and rewritten Bloodstone, and Entwine are all gone, and The Merman's Kiss will be joining them soon. This, as I've explained before in author's notes and whatnot, is due to the alarming amount of plagiarism on this website recently. Keeping my stories up is simply not worth having them stolen. So ... Current stories: The Merman's Kiss She Loved Him Not UPDATES (11/23/09): The epilogue (last chapter!) of The Merman's Kiss and chapter six of She Loved Him Not are up. And a note on reviews ... I'll try to return the favor for reviews on my stories as often as I can, but I just thought you should know that I won't always be able to. Also, constructive criticism is great, as long as you're polite about it, but I don't appreciate flames. | |||||||||
