Author has written 15 stories for Essay, Religion, Love, Haiku, Horror, Song, Thriller, Humor, General, Supernatural, and Humor.

UPDATE: I recently began a new story hoping to abide by the plan of writing 1,000 words a day. I'm going for half and half of quality and quantity, but the story has some good potential and twists I have planned. A little less supernatural than most of my stuff, but I'm really beginning to like it.

Unaccounted For is being worked on as we speak! There's a new chapter up and I'm working very hard to overcome my writer's block on the misadventures of Cecil Parrish.

Hmm, well, it seems that in this new Information Age of ours I've filled out more of these little "Describe Yourself For the Wonderful Strangers Floating About the Net" boxes than I could ever count. Myspace, Xanga, Friendster, even Florida Virtual School and now, Fictionpress. What can I say? I'm not going to sell myself to the masses, I'm not really extraordinary; I mean, sure, I'm in the top 10th percentile at my high school (which I don't doubt a good number of the writers here are) so I'm not going to flaunt anything. When it comes down to me as a person I love rock music, writing, and theater, and thrive on all the above. I'm open to any criticism, being the laid back fella that I am, and can take anything you dish out (constructive or not) anyone with a younger sibling hitting their teen years will agree that there are worse terrors to be held in life than an angry critic. So let's break down some of this into categories, shall we?

Here are some of my writing influences:
(although if you don't like these fine men and women, you may still enjoy my writing)

Stephen King
D.H. Lawrence
Ayn Rand
William Faulkner
Van Gogh (not his writing, obviously, but his spirit)
Chuck Palahniuk
Neil Gaiman
Alan Moore

CURRENT WORKS IN PROGRESS:

The Mind is a Terrible Thing

Unaccounted For

Life, in General (or 347) (which will always be "in progress")

As any person, I like all sorts of other fun and exciting things, but the only problem is, they're only interesting to me (and to people who share said interests). As a wrap up, my writing (like any human beings) is influenced by my life, and shaped by the things that I take in through my senses. I hope that, through the things that I write, me and you, the reader, can connect in a sort of telepathy. Crossing culture, space, and time to get us on the same track, if only for a few hundred words.

So come on in, sit on the chairs, open the drapes, and feel free to put a few things in your coat pocket while my back is turned. My trash is your trash. Let's chat. I appreciate (and encourage) any and all reviews
