Author has written 7 stories for General, Song, Essay, and Life.

I am AmarieC, otherwise known as AmarieC. I go by the same penname in Fanfiction.net where my fandom of choice is Ed, Edd 'n Eddy. My writing would include the weird, or the dramatically tragic, or even: the supernatural. No, no I am not an amature but I have many years of experience under my belt (five formal years) and my greatest aspiration in life besides having a husband who does not want kids is to be a writer. Yes, a full-fledged author.

My real name is April (the A), and my middle name is Marie. Unfortunately this world is too screwed up for me to tell you my last name, but it is no matter anyway. Hmmmm... I joke a lot, abuse sarcasm, abuse cats, abuse myself... Well, you didn't need to know that. What you further don't need to know is that I can go 24 hours without going to the bathroom and that I can talk forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever.

Unfortunately I am seventeen, I wish I was sixteen. Unfortunately I am bald (just kidding). Unfortunately I am very pessimistic. Okay, that's enough. Please check out my stuff (READ MY STORIES FOR THE SAKE OF HUMANITY!!) and uh, hmmm, that left stuff needs to go. Well, please read my stuff from Fanfiction.net IF you are into Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy and if not, then... don't. You could just read my stories here.

My literary skills dip into the psychological, and often use colorful language, but one thing you can count on is that I put my heart and fingers into it. Yes, I literally chopped off a few of my fingers and shoved them into my flashdrive (you can't tell I'm kidding, what are you?). If you can't tell, I have just consumed a rather generous piece of chocolate chip cookie cake complete with cream cheese frosting, and two layers.

If you want to know more about me you must be either bored or a freak, but you can contact me anyway!! (hee hee hee)

How I Am I am blunt but harmless, innocent but experienced, cynical but open-minded, skeptical yet enthusiastic, worn but healthy, bright but depressed, helping but destructive: and the wonder of it all is that everyone else is too. I am a maniacal human who has an unhealthily large sense of humor, who are you? Favorite musical band is Jars of Clay. But I listen to Alternative Christian, the decent secular stuff, and ethnic music. Usually I listen to music while writing and use it to set the mood of my stories. My favorite author is Edgar Allen Poe. Right now I'm busy reading his novel "The Journal of Arthur Gordon Pym" which is a very interesting book if I might add. Favorite things: marshmallows, sleeping, lip balm, mammals, sleeping, Reader's digest, rain, comic strips, boots, sleeping, writing, cleaning, sleeping, singing, fantasizing, freaking people out, and sleeping. I don't see a glass as half empty or half full, I see it as empty because I'm the one who tipped it over! My least favorite things: dolphins, trends, germs, people who impersonate earthquakes by blaring rap music, my brothers' fighting, eye contact, slutty women and chavinisitic men, taxes, mowing lawn, churches, shopping for hours, admitting that I'm wrong (me and everyone else), and proving myself to ANYONE! I am afraid of heights, diseases, spiders, and groups; and I am fascinated with the mind, cartoons, bumper stickers, and death. I live an unordinary yet boring life.

"It was not so much what I wrote about, I discovered, as how I wrote about it. After all, almost anything that could ever happen to a human being had already been written about, by someone, somewhere. The difference would be in the treatment, the style." -Phyllis Reynolds Naylor (How I Became a Writer)

"But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation." - Peter the Apostle (I Peter 1:15)

"You don't understand, this is not what you think it is. You don't get it man, you want to boil it down to show biz. Your in-depth research shows: drop the God, emphasize the beat. I've heard that positive pop you dig- I'd rather get buried in wet concrete." -The Newsboys (God is Not a Secret)

REVIEWING PRINCIPLES

1. For every writer who reviews a story of mine, I go and check out at least one of their stories and give them a review.

2. If I see that a story has no reviews, I am more inclined to go and read and review it myself, because I know how it is to be ignored. Everyone posts stories on this site for others to read them, so should they not deserve at least one review?

3. I will not put down one sentence reviews. You don't have to write a critical essay on someone's story, but more details and thoughts about why you liked the story makes a review great.

4. I have a policy of no flames. Yes, there are some very bad stories out there, but you don't need launch a personal railing on someone for it. It is very possible to be honest and nice at the same time. And if I have a problem with a person's story, I will tell them what the problem is and give them advice on how to fix it instead of being ambiguous or rude.

WRITING PRINCIPLES

1. Everything written will be spell checked, puntcuated correctly, and written in correct formating.

2. I will not write meaningless stories, essays, songs, poems, etc.

3. None of my main characters will be flat or flivorous.

4. Immorality and evil will not be glorified in my works.

If you would like to adopt either list of principles as your own and make this site better and more hospitable, please feel free to put the list in your profile.

MY WORKS

Out Alone: well, this story almost never happened. It was just a fantasy I had in my mind (no, I'm not incestive), but the day I explored the site of Fictionpress.com, I was getting out a fresh notebook and writing down my first original story meant for the internet. It is the story of a sixteen year old boy who promises to protect his little sister after she has a brush with death. But, when he gets closer and closer to her, he realizes that he has gone too far, and now must choose between possibly hurting her with an incestive relationship that can't work, or leaving her alone with their abusive father. The atmosphere is very sad and secluded, and it is rated T for offensive language, moderate gore, violence, and some adult content. 5/26/07Out Alone: Song for the Ears That Can't Hear Me, is a song inspired by my story by the same name. The song is tragic and regretful. Rated T for mild gore and violence, and suggestive romance. 6/4/07

Cockroach Killer: uh, should I explain this monstrosity of a ballad? Okay, this is basicaly for fun, and inspired by Bugs Bunny. A guy gets revenge on an acquaintance in very creative ways, but he underestimated the endurance he possesses. Rated K+ for comic violence. 6/17/07

The Only Reason to Commit Suicide: this short essay goes over what it prescribes, taking a serious subject and making it lighthearted. An honest take on the reasons to kill yourself. Rated T for... I don't know, it is an essay about suicide for crying out loud! 6/17/07

How To Die: my second essay about suicide (I'm not crazy, I'm not crazy). This essay goes over the different ways to die, in a very hilarious way, exploring the cons of the different methods. Rated T for violence, gore, and suicidal tendencies. You will be surprised at how hilarious this essay is. 7/07

Eyefulls of Wakenings: this is a song anthology ranging from topics of being geniune to death, but they all have a common theme: realizations and enlightening. Rated T for truth. 6/21/07

Twenty-Four, Twenty-Five: uh, don't even ask me why I wrote this. It is a very sad story about a battered and abused daughter who has been through many abusive relationships. One night she finds herself standing on a bridge, confessing her sins and the sins of those she knew, as she is preparing to jump- because she believes jumping will set her free from her mother. This poem is rated T for suicidal thoughts, attempted murder, abuse, and graphic language. 6/17/07

U.S.A: this is a song demonstrating my lack of patriotic feelings and bashes (with straight forward humor) the flaws of this country. Rated T for graphic language, but seriously, every child sees these things. 8/14/07

To Be Original: this essay goes over things that I find very depressing in this world of fads, trends, and the people who try to stand out against six billion other people. Rated K. 6/17/07

Copyright: I personally do not own a copywrite, but I do own all of these stories (as much as anyone can own anything). If anyone steals any of my works, or portions of them, or even uses them without my expressed permission (and proper citings), then not only are you a plagiarist, but you do not respect yourself because if you feel that you need to steal from someone else, then it means you do not believe you are smart/talented enough to come up with anything on your own.

Sincerely,

April Marie C. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Long live the imagination!

Ta ta for now!
