My name is Honest and I am eighteen years old and still a writing amateur. I have been writing for a while now, but have been more or less neglecting my account on this site. I am hoping to change that very very soon. I recently just overhauled my page and decided to start fresh by deleting old stories of which I was less than proud. And uploaded all of the other ones I have written but never uploaded. I enjoy reviews and always try to return the favor. I try my hardest to give a good review that will help the reader, although I tend to be overly optimistic and sugarcoat things too much. I am getting better though. I write a lot of stories for writing contests on Gaia online. My username over there is xx_Tickle me IMO. Many people that I am friends with over here I have met over there. So if you would like to make it the othr way around, feel free to. As for what kind of things I write? I write mostly fantasy and realistic fiction. I do not write high fantasy, because it just really isn't my thing. My style is quiet and heavy in metaphors, and sometimes a little dry. From time to time, I try to write humor just to liven things up. Of course, that usually fails pretty miserably. :I recommend: A list of my favorite stories that I have written, for the curious ones out there: "Crashing Daisies": Short Story : The first voice belonged to an old man, I imagine. Then I began to hear others, whispering to me from the graves behind me. No one said dying was easy. "Beyond the Yellow Brick Road" : Poem : Upon the return to Kansas, color disappears from your life forever. Don't you feel that there is something missing? Lost far away in a dream? "Blame it on the Day": Short Story : Won "Best one Shot" in the Season 3 FP Supernatural Awards! : It was a cloudy day and it looked like rain. Days like that always call for some conversation on the job. But Mike never knew what was coming to him. "Paper Hearts and Lollipops" : Short Story: When I was young, we all had to pass out Valentines in our class. But there was a special one that I wanted to pass out. It was for Zachary Donald Browning. | |||||||
