Lyra has been on fictionpress for quite a while, but you probably haven't seen her around here. She is what you call a lurker, you see -- she reads and reads and reads, but she never tends to write. This is on account of a lack of confidence, mostly, but also because of her embarrassment over the writing she did in eighth and ninth grade. Also she is a procrastinator.

Really, Lyra is more suited to performing than writing. While she is a huge bibliophile, her vocational passions tend towards art and music and theatre. Still, she enjoys large words, and is working on several novels presently which may or may not ever see the light of day. It all depends on whether she learns anything in college -- and whether said learning leaves her with any spare time.

Lyra's greatest ambition is to become someone you all have heard of; not here, but in real life under her real name! But that's entirely beside the point.

The point is, fiction is great, and that is why Lyra has a fictionpress account.
