Hello, all. My name is Elle, and I mostly write poetry. The occasional short story may find its way here amidst the masses of electronic vellum, but unfortunately they probably won't be any good. I'm an opera singer-in-training who happens to have schizoaffective disorder, which is basically the lovechild of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. I do write a lot about it and the way it affects my life, and hopefully it will help to show that those who suffer from schizophrenia or any related disorder are thinking, feeling beings who can produce beautiful things.
My last little joy in life is music. I love opera (my favourites are Die Zauberflote and Carmen), Baroque and Romantic classical, classical fusion, Victorian industrial, symphonic metal, and all sorts of other genres. Some of my favorite artists include Nightwish, After Forever, Within Temptation, Emilie Autumn, Hilary Hahn, Celtic Woman, Sarah Brightman, Janine Jansen, and many others.
