Author has written 6 stories for Romance. Hey. Welcome to my profile. :D Right... so, After another long time in hibernation, i think around the third or fourth to date, I've had that hollow pang of longing to write and here I am. Its been kinda jumbled up lately but I'm sticking to the shorter ideas and just re-doing the older ones in my head. So here are the fics you can look forward to from December to maybe around Febuary: 1. My Last Duchess-- a threeshot inspired by Robert Browning's poem of the same name. 2. Closer-- a semi-long fic, maybe five chapters. 3. Been a long time coming-- a oneshot about the distance between them. 4. The Prince and the Matchmaker-- a threeshot attempt at comedy romance. 5. Prototype-- Long term project! currently at twelve or so chappies, will be published as soon as my dear beta churns them back out to me. News 1.) I'm so happy 'Unbreakable' got great reviews. Thanks so much to all my reviewers. I do sorta have to work on my tense problem. For those who are wondering what was the conflict between Dae and Lenn, it was really because of a lot of little things, but the argument the story showed was the only about him moving. I didn't actually state it at all because I didn't really think it was that relevant. 2.) WARNiNG: all people asking for reviews. When I review,I critique. I don't mince my words when I do that, because seeing as you asked for a review, and not praise, that's what you're getting. Besides, if I just told you it was good, or I liked it if I found flaws in the story, I wouldn't be helping you. So... if all you want is to raise the amount of reviews that you have... well, you shouldn't even do that in the first place. IF you want a critic, though, I'm all yours. Story Status and Updates: 1.) Completed Fics: a. 'To catch a Falling Star'-- formerly titled 'the entrance to heaven.' 2.) 'Love and Butterfly Mascara' and 'Imperfect' - the second one was a really huge stupid thing, and i might get around to revising it because as for now, its just.. stupid. 3.)'Unbreakable', a oneshot inspired by Yuu Watase's Nana, is up. Enjoy. :D 4.)'The Moment you Left-- a oneshot on cheating, lying, and breaking up the wrong way. 5.) I told you so-- A vignette for Dane. 4.)Another couple of oneshots are upcoming before I do something more lengthy. I'm getting requests for the Secord Arc of 'Catch a Falling Star' but that really needs to wait cause I'm still working on the plot. I was thinking maybe just a few short three chap stories or something. Stay posted. :D Messages and Whatnot: 7/26/09-- Writing has recommenced. Still as busy as ever. No, the Second Arc is not done. 1/2/09-- I have resigned myself to oneshots, as I am too lazy to do otherwise... bear with me, people! It's Periodical Test week, for crying out loud. a little about myself: People i know call me Puff, and people I don't call me Zet. I have a couple of weird nicknames that I don't exactly care to mention. My age and exact location are restricted information because I do not wish to be kidnapped. It's a big problem here, where I live. (so,if you are planning to kidnap and hold me for ransom, F off!) Right... so I belong to a huge, very conservative Chinese family and spend most of my free time in from on the computer. I watch a lot of anime, and listen to a lot of rock, in English, Japanese and Chinese. I can speak in four languages and swear in six. (heh, that was irrelevant.) I like anime, my PC, the TV, music, fluff in moderation, good plots, books and writing (it's my life.) There are a lot of things I dislike, primarily people who can't take a hint, posers, feelers, and stories that have super-predictable endings. a little about my writing and fiction in general: First of all, I hate, detest and absolutely abhor cliche. Why? Because the most important thing (to me, anyway) about a story is the plot. And if your just gonna use and reuse the old cliche story lines then what on earth is the point?! Of course, if you took a cliche and gave it a twist that would technically not be cliche anymore and thus be acceptable. Cliche event or elements themselves aren't bad but for God's sake don't make everything so damn predictable. It ruins everything. Seriously. Oh, and I detest Mary Sues. Secondly... I've been writing for a long time, since I was nine, but stopped for a year. Everything that's posted and will be posted is a sort of rusty get-back from a two year stop. So tell me what you think. Thirdly, what I like writing about- confrontations definitely take first place, and infuriatingly quiet, indecipherable characters take second, and unexpected twists third. And tragedy- sad endings rock, provided all the ends were sewn up well. Well, that's it. all reviews are gladly accepted. :) Writing is the best way to talk without being interrupted. | |||||||||||
1. I Told You So reviewsDon’t you understand? You might as well ask me to take a bullet for you. I’m sorry- would you understand, if I said I was only human? I loved—I love you. But not that much. Not like that. True love? True love is a lie, Dane— at least it is, for me. 1shotComplete - Romance - Fiction Rated: T - English - Drama/Tragedy - Chapters: 1 - Words: 554 - Reviews: 1 - Updated: 3-1-09 - Published: 3-1-092. The Moment You Left reviewsShe was just a girl, but it wasn’t ever the same. He did have someone new, it was the simple matter of telling Cathy —or was it Carrie?— over drinks. She had said yes, of course. But he wasn’t that happy- he couldn't possibly be, not without her. Unbreakable reviewsIt was, he supposed, just a joke. No one would have based everything that they had on a pair of cheap, thriftstore juice glasses. “That’s serious!” she tells him, he laughs, but her next sentence will haunt him a long time: “Those are unbreakable!” 1shot.Complete - Romance - Fiction Rated: T - English - Romance/Parody - Chapters: 1 - Words: 2,279 - Reviews: 6 - Updated: 1-2-08 - Published: 1-2-084. ImperfectThere had always been a picture in her head, about how she would tell him, how he would respond. That was impossible now, but really, the last way she would’ve started a confession was with: If we ever get through this, I'm going to kill you. At the same time, he can’t imagine why he didn’t do it sooner. He doesn’t think about how she’ll react, because Nati always had a way of outdoing each and every one of his expectations.
