Hey. Welcome to my profile. :D
Right... so,
News
1.) I'm so happy 'Unbreakable' got great reviews. Thanks so much to all my reviewers. I do sorta have to work on my tense problem. For those who are wondering what was the conflict between Dae and Lenn, it was really because of a lot of little things, but the argument the story showed was the only about him moving. I didn't actually state it at all because I didn't really think it was that relevant.
2.) WARNiNG: all people asking for reviews. When I review,I critique. I don't mince my words when I do that, because seeing as you asked for a review, and not praise, that's what you're getting. Besides, if I just told you it was good, or I liked it if I found flaws in the story, I wouldn't be helping you. So... if all you want is to raise the amount of reviews that you have... well, you shouldn't even do that in the first place. IF you want a critic, though, I'm all yours.
Story Status and Updates:
1.) Completed Fics: a. 'To catch a Falling Star'-- formerly titled 'the entrance to heaven.'
2.) 'Love and Butterfly Mascara' and 'Imperfect' - the second one was a really huge stupid thing, and i might get around to revising it because as for now, its just.. stupid.
3.)'Unbreakable', a oneshot inspired by Yuu Watase's Nana, is up. Enjoy. :D
4.)Another couple of oneshots are upcoming before I do something more lengthy. I'm getting requests for the Secord Arc of 'Catch a Falling Star' but that really needs to wait cause I'm still working on the plot. I was thinking maybe just a few short three chap stories or something. Stay posted. :D
Messages and Whatnot:
9/26/07-- Writing has recommenced. Still as busy as ever.
10/9/07-- I have resigned myesse to oneshots, as I am too lazy to do otherwise... bear with me, people! It's Periodical Test week, for crying out loud.
Anything else:
Ahem. It came to my attention lately that a lotta you people said something about 'Catch a Falling Star' coming from Paradise Kiss... and so, I went ahead and watched it... so, yes, there were similarities... (actually, some of them really scared me... I mean, Arashi... and stuff like that.) anyways, my point is, it is diabolical to copy people's plots. No... seriously. I hate it and I swear that any likeness to what ever was absolutly coincidential (unless of course it was made by freaky phsycic connections...) So, questions other than that, PM me. Arigatou for your understanding. :D
a little about myself:
My name is Selene Wang. I have a couple of weird nicknames that I don't exactly care to mention. My age and exact location are restricted information because I do not wish to be kidnapped. It's a big problem here in the Philippines. (so,if you are planning to kidnap and hold me for ransom, F off!) Right... so I belong to a huge, very conservative Chinese family and spend most of my free time in from on the computer. I watch a lot of anime, and listen to a lot of rock, in English, Japanese and Chinese. I can speak in four languages and swear in six. (heh, that was irrelevant.)
I like anime, my PC, the TV, music, fluff in moderation, good plots, books and writing (it's my life.) There are a lot of things I dislike, primarily people who can't take a hint, posers, feelers, and stories that have super-predictable endings.
a little about my writing and fiction in general:
First of all, I hate, detest and absolutely abhorr cliche. Why? Because the most important thing (to me, anyway) about a story is the plot. And if your just gonna use and resue the old cliche storylines then what on earth is the point?! Of course, if you took a cliche and gave it a twist that would technically not be cliche anymore and thus be acceptable. Cliche event or elements themselves aren't bad but for God's sake don't make everything so damn predictable. It ruins everything. Seriously.
Secondly... I've been writing for a long time, since I was nine, but stopped for a year. Everything that's posted and will be posted is a sort of rusty get-back from a two year stop. So tell me what you think.
Thirdly, what I like writing about- confrontations definitely take first place, and infuriatingly quiet, indecipherable characters take second, and unexpected twists third. And tradegy- sad endings rock, provided all the ends were sewn up well.
Well, that's it.
all reviews are gladly accepted. :)
