Ello there.
Scarlet Brooks is the name of a character in a graphic novel I've been working on for about a year.
But just call me Mimi.
I've abandoned this account on two occasions, so either I'm extremely active or dead.
I'm sixteen, female, American, and break so many "black girl" stereotypes that it seems intentional.
It's not.
Writing is more of a hobby than a passion to me, so I don't get too upset over a bad review, especially when it's related to my poems.
My strength is first person prose, especially when it has a psychological element to it.
I'm interested in people, makeup and fashion, baking, psychology, reading, and music.
I love most forms of metal, visual kei and oshare kei, techno, dance, industrial rock, synthpop, and etc.
I'm atheist, somewhat pansexual, materialistic, straightedge, and a bit controversial in my views.
I'm also a bit morbid and weird; you can see it in my poems and stories.
Also, don't be too offended if I don't respond to messages or reviews automatically.
Expect To See When I Get Around To It
Piper (Name subject to change)
Kate Jones is a quiet and passive woman with a deep hatred for herself. One day, she decides that since she's so unhappy being herself, she'll be happy being another person. She takes on the online identity of Piper, an alternative financial dominatrix who is given money and gifts for humiliating her money slaves, and eventually starts one of the most infamous cults of her time.
Rock Girl
Emily Berry is a little rich girl with a mind that surpasses her years and a heart that disregards her wealth. She's unique but not appreciated because she believes she is from Pluto "like that one boy from that one movie." She starts to harbor a hate for the world that began when Pluto was declared not a planet and continued with her botoxed mother, favored sister, and horrible therapist. But a trip to the other side of the country and a meeting with a few crazy characters will change not only her perspective, but others' too.
