Hi. My name's not really Inanna Skili, but it will serve for now. I think the name represents me quite well. Inanna is a goddess of writing; I'm named for a goddess and love to write. The Skili are scary witch-owl creatures; owls are the patron bird of the goddess I'm named for, and I've always felt I have a bit of an other-wordly thing going.
I'm twenty one years old and I've been writing since I was four. It started out more as a passtime than anything; at the time I planned on being a fire-fighter when I grew up. When I was sixteen, my writer's craft teacher told me I was one of the best writers he had ever had in his class and that I had a gift. I don't know that that's true, and I know there are many writers out there far more talented than I am, but hearing him say that made me want to write, and since then, I just haven't been able to stop.
I'll write pretty much anything, as long as it's fiction. I write mainly for an adult (as in mature, not X-rated) audience, but I will on occasion write a children's story. A lot of my stories have silly, improbable romances in them, because, well, who doesn't love a silly, improbable romance?
Also, I am terrible at updating when I should. Please stay with me; I am working on that.
Well, that's me.
