Hi, I'm Shameir (aka Charite) from the island of Jamaica. I am a 17 year old libra.
Hobbies: I really love to sing, listen to music (especially reggae), read and write poetry and read novels and greek mythology (from whence i got my name "The Charites").
I'm an an absolute sucker for talent and when I see it , i have to give credit. Once i see a poem i like i'll give it credit. Sometimes writing poetry is hard and I just can't get the right words out and then the other times everything just flows. Just reading the poems on the site inspire me to write. i don't have the chance to visit the site as much as i want to but when i do i just feel inspired to write something new. I've been writing poetry for a while now and even though some of my peices aren't great (or good for that matter) i just keep writing cause it makes me feel good.
Some of greatest moments are when i get good reviews. I become absolutely ecstatic just to know that someone appreciates my feeble talent. Some reviews require that i make changes to make my poems better and for those i am thankful. I don't mind the critism (as long as it's not harsh) because being corrected helps me not to make the same mistake again.
All the poems i have read have helped me to become better. So:
