Light in the Dark: Nightfall

"Hear that howling? That's the pack of wolves that live in the forest."

"Wolves? Will they hurt us?"

"Never. In fact, no one has ever even seen one of them."

"How do you know about them then? How do you know that they're really there?"

"You can hear their night songs when the moon is full. There are legends about this pack. Hundreds of them, passed down from generations."

"Legends? About a bunch of wolves?"

"You'd never believe what these wolves go through. Grandpa told me a story that he heard when he was a kid. You wanna hear it?"

"Yes please!"

"Ok. It starts on a cold winter's day, over seventy years ago..."

Light in the Dark: Moonshine

"Do you really have to go?"

"I'm sorry, sister, but yes."

"Why do you have to go so far away? And for so long?"

"It won't seem that long. I'll visit whenever I can."

"Can you tell me another story? About the pack?"

"Aw sis, those are just kid stories."

"Please? For old time's sake. Who knows when I'll hear another story?"

"Alright, alright. This one grandpa says happened a few years after the last story. It's about a female wolf, who is the rightful leader of the pack..."

Light in the Dark: Snowstorm

"It's great to see you again! I missed you, brother."

"I missed you too, sis. And I come with a gift."

"What kind of gift?"

"Another story. About the pack."

"I thought they were just kid stories."

"Well, my roommate was talking about it. And I told him my little sister loved the stories. Would you like to hear this one, or have you grown too much to love these stories?"

"Tell me the story! Tell me the story!"

"Ok, ok. This one took place not too long ago, actually, about a hybrid pup trying to find his place..."

Light in the Dark: Eclipse

"Daddy, I wanna hear a story!"

"Me too!"

"Not tonight kids, it's bedtime. You're starting third grade tomorrow, you'll wanna be wide awake."

"Please! Just one tiny story. Like the one's Aunt Maria told us about."

"Well... alright. But those stories are a little adult for you. More for older kids."

"There's gotta be one you can tell us. You said that the pack still lives today. Surely there must be one for us!"

"I think there is one actually. Promise to listen the whole time, and not to interupt?"

"Promise!"

"Ok. This is the story of two wolf pups, born in the middle of a lunar eclipse-"

"What's a lunar eclipse?"

"You're already interupting."

"Sorry!"

"Ok, as I was saying..."

Above, you have just read the summaries to my upcoming fantasy series about a pack of wolves called Pack of the Faded Light. Each story takes place in a different time of the pack, and none of them are in any way related to each other. I'm not sure if I'll make any more then four stories. But those are the first four.
