On rare occasions, I feel as if I have finally gone somewhere with my writing, but this elated moment of arrogance never lasts long. 'City of Light' is the only new thing that will be upped for a while. I refuse to let all my hard work go to waste on my main project (see below), and so, I won't allow it to exist in its current, sorry state.

Born of Death: Under Rewrite

Every once in a while, those who no longer believe must have their faith renewed, but those seeking to do so are not always the saviours of humanity. In these times of strife, Daniel Edwin must face a war of his own: the battle between the often corrupt ideals of humanity, and the darkness within his own nature.

Reason for rewrite: Inadequacy in the overall effect of the story, the lagging character development, and the gaping holes that are showing through all too readily.

Despite being under reconstruction, please do not hesitate to express any criticism or advice that you have concerning Born of Death, for I would be happy to take these suggestions into consideration while I am working on improvements. None of the original chapters will be removed until they can be replaced by an update of equal value.

I am the Night Watchman:

This is my very first attempt at poetry, but I dare say I won't be writing more of it for a while. The completion of my story is currently at the top of my priorities.

'I am the Night Watchman' portrays a tale of love, something the night watchman makes eternal, as you will see through his actions.

I was listening to Marilyn Manson's Portrait of an American Family at the time, and the album gave me a sudden desire to write something beautifully grotesque. The Night Watchman was my very second idea. I will not tell you what the first was. It's not very appropriate ;)

Needless to say, the poem turned out quite mild, much to my disappointment. But I think it has a few good moments. Ah well, there's always next time.

For all of you out there, good luck, and happy hunting.
