7/26/09: And so, we finally find an end to the story. Part of me wishes it wasn't over with, but mostly I'm glad to have it done. One less thing for me to have to think about these days. Which I feel sounds really terrible, but it's true. Life isn't giving me much slack lately. I still have all the other story ideas in mind, but right now isn't the time for me to start up a new one. As for the ending, I hope it will sit well with at least a few people. I know the end to a story is never going to make everyone happy, and so I'm not expecting this one to, either. I'm happy with it, though.

And regarding the story itself, I honestly didn't know it would make it this far. When I started writing, I did something that.. really isn't anything I would do again, which is diving in with no real plot. haha. I'm sure it's not hard to tell, but in case anyone was wondering. I started writing LiS just to have something to do. Updates came every day for so long, because I was just.. writing. Typing out an update because I could. I certainly had enough time on my hands, lol. But yeah. Anyone who ever thought to themselves, wow.. this could go anywhere. You were exactly right. ;

I've enjoyed writing this story for a number of reasons. The most important probably being that it allowed me to find the greatest joy I've had in a long time. So I dedicate this story to him. -nods- I also enjoyed it, of course, because I love to write. This is my first piece of work that's ever been finished, let alone forty-two chapters long. I could thank everyone who wrote a review, and read each update a thousand times over, and it probably wouldn't feel like enough. But I'll just say it one last time, I promise. Thank you.

I suppose I should say something about myself, too. My name is Sam, I'm 19. Writing comes very easily to me, I guess. Always has. Not to brag, mind you. ;) Everyone here that I've seen so far has amazing skill, and I'm proud that I can be part of such a great group of people. I've won awards for my writing in school, I had a poem published in 5th grade (hah, woo!). Small things, along with constant support of my writing skills from people that I love have brought me to where I am. I still have plenty of room to improve, and plan on doing so.

And now for a bit of a change in information. -laughs- I'm not going into a long spiel about anything, I'll just state the facts. Because that's all I really know myself. I have a boyfriend. He means the world to me. I wonder every day how I managed to get so lucky. He thinks he's lucky, but he doesn't even know. -grins- I hope everyone gets to enjoy something like we have someday, because it's absolutely amazing. Love you, my Lyoness. Always and Forever.

I still like romance stories, reading and writing them. That hasn't changed. hah. I have a few story ideas up in my head, some written out, just in the very beginning stages. We'll just have to wait and see if they happen, though.
